On the PTR for some reason my Xperl target frame is nowhere to be found. The Target-tab is present in configuration, and I can toggle settings, but nothing (including resetting to defaults) make the target frame available. Oddly, I can see target-of-target.
Had a bug start showing up on my home PC awhile back (don't know the exact date) but for some reason only my main character is having her debuffs show up on her target while playing.
None of my alts are able to see debuffs at all which is a major pain >_>
How would i go about using raid frams all the time no party just raid?Could u add a nudger to all frams, buff, tots everything.Very nice mod ty for your time u have put into it.
Thanks for the reply. From what I gather from your post I can download and drop LibHealComm 4.0 into my WoW/Interface/Addon/ directory and X-Perl should automatically see and load it. When I get into a raid it will automatically be running/working without me having to do anything else?
Also, people using the latest release of Grid should have LibHealComm 3.0, which can't directly communicate with LibHealComm 4.0. But since the release version of Grid has LibWrapperHealComm-1.0 they should be able to see my heals without any special configuration.
Finally, for my X-Perl using LibHealComm 4.0 to be able to see other people running LibHealComm 3.0 I will need to put LibWrapperHealComm-1.0 in my addon folder. Then run an addon like Visual Heal that will load it. I could then just decide in-game to not show the visual heal stuff.
I'm going to try it out, hopefully tonight, but might not get a chance till tomorrow. I'd still really like to hear from people who currently use X-Perl with LibHealComm (3.0 or 4.0) in raids with other healers who are using Grid.
Actually I have had 0 luck with xperl showing incoming heals other than just highlighting the frame of the toon getting healed, it doesnt actually seem to show the amount of the incoming heal and thats a major shortcoming for healers that I would love to see fixed. I switched to SUF because of this. Proper behavior should be to show the AMOUNT of the incoming heal on the health bar with a definable color or with some alpha on the current health bar color. Highlighting a frame that has an incoming heal that doesnt show the amount of the heal is useless.

Assuming this poster means they'd like an option to view raid frames in parties as well as raids, I'd also be interested in that.
Additionally, a small bug I think:
When sorting by class, and deselecting checkboxes from the "groups" column (not the classes) the frames will still remove the corresponding class rather than group. Personally, I like to have my raids sorted by class, and then only showing groups 1-5, which doesn't seem possible given the current implementation (I know, seems like since the buff changes it makes much more sense to sort by group, but I'm stuck in my habits!)
Another question/request, would it be/is it possible to track both my earth shield, and ones casted by other shamans? Ideally, I think this could be done in an update to the "custom highlight" section (i.e., allowing the specifying of a given highlight color for a specific buff, and allowing to determine whether "casted by me" or not). I feel like this functionality might already be there though, and that I'm just futzing it up. If so, I'd really appreciate a pointer in the right direction!
Anyway, been using Xperl for a few years now. Really appreciate the great, long-lasting addon!

I have found the problem with XPBarNone. It is no longer compatible with SimpleMiniMap. I downloaded the new version from 13 hours ago and it still Knocks out XPBarNone. :(
For those posting about target frame problems, it seems to work fine in the latest r346 version, which is on wowace.com and came out quite a while ago. Get it.
However, I have noticed a bug that was introduced some time between 3.0.6 and r346. In XPerl_Player, around line 375, 4 lines were inserted related to "greyMana". This change is causing mana values and percentages to appear in the player frame, even when they're turned off. (In fact if you haven't turned on percentages, the percentage number actually appears outside and to the right of the frame, since it isn't properly width-expanded)

Wrong. r347 fixed this.
However I have noticed a new problem with the release I downloaded this morning. The Mana Percentage on player unit frame will not turn off. I have all percentages turned off and even checked the Player percentage switch. Neither have any affect.

I have the same problem, but it's with the unit/deficit numbers on the mana bar. I cannot get it turn off, although I can get the mana percentage on the side to toggle on and off. I have a feeling these issues are somehow related though.
I have a player unit frame problem. When my character is in combat, everything is fine except for my characters health never decreases. I'm losing health, I can see that. But in the unit frame it shows me losing none.
Great mod. I love X-Perl. I have been waiting for quite awhile for an option to only show "Debuffs" for your target's target. I'm a tank, and seeing my (or another tank's) buffs don't help me at all, and just clutters my screen. Is this option already in X-Perl, and I'm just missing it? I don't suppose it would be too difficult to add.

Any clue what could be causing this?

Please, how do I find and download the alpha version of xperl that is supposed to work in patch 3.3?
thank you,

Wrong. Target frame worked just fine last night after upgrading to r346 for me and everyone in my guild.
