I use X-Perl for my raid healing frames on my Druid, and the sparkles are really handy for visually displaying the time left on hots. But I have the talent that extends my hots by 3 seconds and the sparkles don't realize it. So the sparkles end while there's still 3 seconds left on the hot.
Also, it would be nice if there were multiple sparkles lines, one for each hot. They could be right on top of each other but different colors for different ones. Like violet for rejuv, green for regrowth and the current color for lifebloom, etc.
And it would be nice of the hots counter could be set to just show the casters # of hots, or have two seperate numbers, casters and total hots.
Not that Zeskie ever checks them, but I did create tickets for this as well as Revive, HoT counter for wild growth and the missing Global>Status Highlighting>Heals setting accounting for Nourish.
I'm using the latest release of the addon and I have also tried deleting the WTF folder.
I'm having an issue with the x-Perl target frame and the range finder.
When I enable the range finder with the 30 yd range distance the target frame is fading out just fine when I select friendly npc's or player characters, my issue is when I select enemy units. When I select them there is no fading of the target frame at all.
The 30 yd range hand indicator appears to be working perfectly fine on the target frame but it refuses to fade the frame on the enemy unit when it is out of range.
Some more info to help get this fixed:
Alright here is what I know about the range finder in x-perl and what my situation is:
# I have checked the Range Finder and Enable check boxes at the bottom of the Global tab in x-Perl
# I have tried using the Spell/Name, 10 yd, 30 yd and 40 yd range options
# The 40 yd range option never functions properly
When I use the spell/name option and put a spell in the box depending on the type of spell I put in determines what kind of functionality I get from range finder:
If its a healing spell:
# friendly city guards/players work properly by fading the target window
# enemy units/friendly non-interactive units do not fade the target window
If its an offensive spell:
# friendly city guards/players stay faded out the entire time they are selected
# enemy units/friendly non-interactive units do not fade the target window
I just want all of the units I select to fade the target window when they are out of the range I have selected and to remove the fade when they are in range. I assume this can happen because the 30 yd hand indicator that exists in the Target tab does function properly the entire time.
If anyone has any ideas or can point me to the correct section of code to look at to try and fix it myself that would be great.
The totem frames are not showing up on my shaman effective 3.0.3c r288. Disabling/Enabling the Blizzard Totem Frame option does nothing, and attempting to enable and then change the location using the Horizontal Offset and Vertical Offset indicators results in this error:

My Target of Target is not working. I have asked others with X-Perl and the one reply I got back was that their Target of Target has stopped working. This is a huge issue as I am one of the MT's in my guild and I need to see who has aggro on the target. :-)
I use Icehud and Xperl. I used to turn off the Xperl player module (or perhaps there was an option to hide it) so that only the hud would be visible, but a couple of updates (to Xperl) ago, that stopped working. Now, if I disable the player module, the default Blizzard frame comes back. Is there a simple way to get rid of it? For that matter, I should probably want to get rid of Target and ToT frames, too, since Icehud already has those.
I'm having a similar problem: When i turn off "player buffs" in the "player" menu, the old blizzard buff icons show up in the upper right and get in the way of my minimap. How do I make it so these buffs are hidden?
Also I use a HUD addon, how do I hide the unit frame that shows my portrait/hp, etc. I don't need it anymore.
You said the buffs came back, not the player unitframe.
Reloadui after you disable the player frame in xperl maybe. Your HUD addon should probably be hiding it then. If not, I don't know. Maybe x-perl finds out the player portrait is disabled and forces the Blizz one to show up? I didn't look in the code. try also disabling the XPerl_Player module in your addon selection screen.

I think you misread what I said. I've tried the things you suggested, except that I don't remember if I tried turning off the player module altogether at the addon selection screen. I will try that.
I'd like to have my player, target, and target's target frames in a different area when I'm in combat versus out of combat. I like to have those frames in the center of the screen under my character when I'm in combat, but it's distracting when I'm not in combat.
I figure I'll have to modify the code to do this. Do I put the frame movement code in an enter/exit combat event? Does anyone some line numbers or sample code I could look at?

Also I use a HUD addon, how do I hide the unit frame that shows my portrait/hp, etc. I don't need it anymore.
Thank you!
:p
I figure I'll have to modify the code to do this. Do I put the frame movement code in an enter/exit combat event? Does anyone some line numbers or sample code I could look at?
