got a question for you rabbit after ninjaing your raidlayout.
been using a center icon for grid and i've been wanting to drop grid for a more lighweight alternative and this seems pretty nice.
however is there a possibility to somehow in a fairly easy way to add a center texture to show icons that
A, are based on conditions like poison or disease
B, custom icons that are encounter based say like burn for Brutallus or flame sear and so on and so forth
tiana, if you install oUF_DebuffHighlight, my layout will give you a small square icon in the top left of the raid frames colored by debuff type, like magic/poison/curse.
About the icon in the center; yeah that's possible, and not that hard, but I won't give you any code for it. You'll have to experiment yourself, and when you have a specific coding question or you're stuck with something, then you can ask here or on IRC and I (or someone else) will answer.
oUF_Debuffhighlight gives you the choice besides border coloring or to place the debuff symbol on raidframes. There is furthermore a filter option, so that only debuffs are shown if you can dispell them. Works pretty fine e.g. at Terron or any other situation for myself. The code you might want to try is well documented at the addons page.
i modify aura.lua
to spawn timeleft buff
but i have a problem... time not update
this is a code
local DAY, HOUR, MINUTE, SHORT = 86400, 3600, 60, 5 --modificato da me
if s >= DAY then
return format('%dd', floor(s/DAY + 0.5)), s - floor(s)
elseif s >= HOUR then
return format('%dh', floor(s/HOUR + 0.5)), s - floor(s)
elseif s >= MINUTE then
if s <= MINUTE*3 then
return format('%d:%02d', floor(s/60), s % MINUTE), s - floor(s)
return format('%dm', floor(s/MINUTE + 0.5)), s - floor(s)
return floor(s + 0.5), s - floor(s)
i saw the addon oUF_Indicator on wowinterface which seems to fit needs to show an icon in the middle.
so i tried to strip the addon from the code that didnt apply to shamans and ended up with http://pastey.net/88348
then added this http://pastey.net/88349
to rabbits raid frame at the bottom with the rest of the frame creation.
but i didnt get any luck
Hey all, I'm trying to write a function to make MY debuffs bigger than others (think X-Perl), this is what I have so far:
local auraSize = function(self, icons, unit, icon, index, offset, filter, isDebuff)
if ( isDebuff ) then
local _, _, _, _, _, _, timeLeft = UnitDebuff(unit, index, filter)
if ( timeLeft ) then
icons.size = 36
icons.size = 22
icons.size = 22
I'm unable to test this because I don't actually have WoW installed on the computer I'm using, but I'm still fairly sure that it won't work (it's meant to be used in the PostUpdateAuraIcon function).
If anyone could try this out and tell me what happens, or can give me pointers on how to do what I'm trying to do I'd really appreciate it.
