did i miss how to configure buffs somewhere in the options?
the ctraid options to configure which buffs to show and which to ignore is pretty neat for healers afaik (renew, rejuv)
also bufftimers would mean tooltips, but alot of ppl like them aswell as showing timers for SS, ankh and combatresses
There won't be any buff timers, it's something CTRA does using channel communication, and it's not something I want to bloat this mod with.
About only showing select buffs, once I figure out a nice and easy way to configure this, I'll add it - at the moment it shows all buffs you can cast.
To be honest, it's not really something that's the job of raid frames, there are other mods which focuses on buffing and helping rebuffing, and they do a much better job.
I love these raidframes. Ive been using them for quite a while now but there are some options that I've missed. So now I will try and make my request for a feature or two.
1. To use the space on each indiviuals frame alot more. What I mean by this is widen the HP/Mana bars to the edges, and be able to choose the height on both the hp and manabar. I don't want my unitframes to take up worthless space of nothing, giving me no info whatsoever only cluttering the screen.
2. Be able to toggle Group/Class-names on / off.
3. Hmm... I had something in mind but I seem to have lost it.
I can agree on hots, but not 5 paladin blessings, fortitude, gotw etc.
The one functionality that keeps me from completely getting rid of CTRA frames is keeping track of my blessings. If I cast Greater Blessing of Salvation, I want to see it up to make sure it's up on those people who need it. If someone dies and is res'd, I want to be able to quickly and visually identify that and give that person a 5-minute blessing. If I'm already staring at these frames to heal, I really don't want to have to look elsewhere to see who requires a blessing :/ Like you said above, I dont want to see all the paladin blessings, just the one I'm responsible for. If that ever gets implemented, I can finally drop CTRA.

I did. I set up both Greater and regular Blessing of Salvation. At the start of the raid, there's x amount of people without the buff (excluding warriors). After I bless Greater Salvation, XRS shows that no one is missing Greater Salvation, but it still shows me that x amount of people are missing regular Salvation.
To this day I still manually cast blessings. All I want is a visual indicator right there on the raid frames, not a tool to bless for me :/
- Added ability to hide group titles, provided the frames are locked - if unlocked, the titles are displayed again, as they are needed for positioning.
option to toggle mouseover tooltips with current zone information.
Sorry i cant test myself, but when a shaman with an anhk or player with a soulstone dies, does it show that player is able to selfres? and does it display cooldown times untill next shaman anhk res or when a warlock can cast next soulstone? Ctra frames did both of these with the cooldowns in the mouseover, wondering if sraidframes does this.
There are a couple of things EasyRaid does that might be cool to consider. As I find myself in a tough spot since EasyRaid no longer works, I was wondering if you had considered or would consider adding these functions to your frames?
Frame Container - EasyRaid creates a resizeable area in which all the frames go and they are automatically sorted and aligned with a couple of options. It helps having to avoid constantly needing to finagle your frames to accommidate the ever changing nature of raids you are a part of.
Hide Classes/Groups - I believe I saw someone ask for this earlier, but even as a healer I only ever need/want to see certain classes or groups. Being apple to suppress certain ones would be awesome.
Hide Current Group Members - This helps save realistate as it removes the party members already displayed by your party frames.
This looks to be, and is thus far a terrific raid frame mod, and I look forward to your future development.
CTRA was able to show that information becuase it was also the mod handling those cooldowns.
In order for sRaidFrames to do that, it would have to keep-track of them itself, since oRA does not currently track them, only broadcasts your own.
Bascially, it most likely won't happen (Soulstone and Ank timers that is.)
I understand, thats fine was just wondering. What if you created a Optional Dependencies for CTRA and oRA to somehow read cooldowns? I still use CTRA with your raid frames, tried oRA but feels too incomplete still.

for buffs i agree, its just that some ppl are missing this and rather use ctraid instead (its still the addon ppl measure replacements against)

I hate merging your changes into my file to not lose my design on update :D

Just download XRS (XRaidStatus) for that! ;)
