I hate to be a bug about it but.... apprently I cant check it out still. It gets a lot more files but I still hit a brick wall when I reach trying to get the ace3 config file that is listed as a external for ace 3 options... I think. smart svn isnt being helpful but tortise ends up asking for the password some where in the ace 3 options folder.
Valdeck: Checkout the Ace3 Beta branch, then get the ag_UnitFrames branch, making sure "No Externals". And grab LibSharedMedia-2.0 from the trunk, as well.
Edit: Actually, looks like someone already fixed externals. Should work fine with a normal checkout.
well i took your advice and checked them all out on their own, i am still getting a request for a user/pass on a ace config file in the ace options folder of the overall aguf checkout. So assuming i checked them out seperately I know that I needed to copy the libs into the lib directors but for some reasson neither ace 3 or aguf shows up in my addons listing... do i need to edit a .toc or .lua? I know the libs are all in the right folders and such.
The Ace3_Options folder in the ag_UF branches is just pointing to the wrong place (an old location) for an external, so it aborts. I don't see anything requesting a password though...
Anyway, you're only supposed to be downloading the Ace3 branch of ag_UF, not any of the other stuff in there. So, go to ag_UnitFrames\Ace3\(stuff), download that Ace3 folder, and rename it to ag_UnitFrames.
As a casual Ace updater, I wanted to thank you for your approach to ag_UnitFrames. It works pretty much perfectly for me as-is and I'm glad the trunk isn't getting major changes every week. On the other hand software has to evolve, so it's great you're working on something new. I hope you keep the aesthetic of simple and not requiring much configuration1
CallbackHandler-1.0\\CallbackHandler-1.0.lua:32: ACE-80: OnUsed/OnUnused are deprecated. Callbacks are now done to registry.OnUsed and registry.OnUnused\nCallbackHandler-1.0\\CallbackHandler-1.0.lua:32: in function `New'\nAceEvent-3.0\\AceEvent-3.0.lua:18: in main chunk\n\n ---"
Had no config options for agUF and Combuctor went down. Not sure which one is causing this, but I logged and updated Combuctor - no difference.
I just installed the new agUF today and really like it (was looking for the party target functionality). I know it is work in progress but one thing I'd really like to see are global settings for the bars so that I don't have to go in and replicate it for each group (width, height, scale etc.)
Well, I had a little problem with finding how to get to the config window but managed to sort it. And when I disabled castbar on player frame, I would get a clickthrough popup that would sto showing with an /ReloadUI.
If I can come with some wishes for a Ace3 AGUF, I got a few. I know you can edit lua to config but I hope for them in the default UI.
* Font options, especially size adjustment would be nice but of course typefaces too.
* A bit more options on the "infotexts" for placement and what they show.
* Pre-config dummy frames allowing me to change it without being in raid and having a pet f.e.
* Better tuned default scaling (its really small, have to boost scaling a bunch to be able to read the texts).
I am one of those that are really happy with the default AGUF theme though, so I just adjust it a bit to my liking (scaling up, removing all bars, use class colored health bars overall).
I know you said it was feature complete, but I was wondering if it might be possible to add in druid mana bar. I'm trying to do it, but I surely couldn't do it as fast as someone with experience with Ace3's new config, the module system and bars relative height.

Two small things: The Health Bar Module doesn't toggle, and if you set frame height to minimum, you get the pic below.
These are sweet, theGUI is easy. Thanx, will keep mucking with them.
Other than that, it's awesome! <3

Otherwise these are the unitframes of awesomeness

Hide party in raid option is there. I just unchecked it myself.
I use Fubar menu to config:
