Ok I'm new to trying to use SVN versions of mods, but I really like the look of IceHUD and want to give it a whirl. I basically just downloaded each file from the SVN list from the link on the first page, but the LIBS directory is empty and when I start WoW the HUD doesn't show up. Now if I have Ice and ArcHUD running (obviously a bad idea) IceHUD works so I'm guessing there's libraries I need. Which ones do i need and where do I get them?
Like how its shaping up! I thought about party rings and yes it would be hard to keep track of stats and things(I really should of known that) Im looking forward to the finished product. Sucks i cant keep track of anything let alone keep up on Ace forums marriage planning sucks ><;;
Any plans on adding new textures? Not that there's anything wrong with the current three, of course, but I would love to see the bars as vertical lines. "||| |||" instead of "\\\ ///" or "((( )))".
Another request: You have support for the ToFu timer to be displayed in IceHud. How about a text listing of destination below the bar, similar to the spell text below the casting bar? :)
IceHUD: Version 0.5
- Graphical combo points
- Various tweaks and bug fixes (ie. mirror timer bar)
Samasnier:
The location in the last ToFu version was so long that it looked really weird.. I'll see if I can pull shorter version from somewhere.
I'll be adding vertical bars at some point. I think someone already made those as in a matter of fact...

Horizontal bars is a no-go. The layout system just wasn't designed for that.
1st off, icehud owns bottom line
kickass work on this one ice
been using it for quite some time now.
only have 1 complaint
the numerical values for pets (in my case a warlock's demon) are literally running into the pet hp/power bars, makes reading the numbers impossible for power % and hp is viewable but kinda hard to spot.
would it be possible to adjust these numbers down a bit vertically (i think that would solve the problem, tho moving them towards the center of the screen a smidge would help as well) next time im on my lock ill grab and post a screenie if needed.
thanks and keep up the great work!!
Perhaps I'm too much "oldschool" but I found thaht graphical combo point is a bit less "readable" than numeric count but anyway this HUD kickass !
Since IceHud can use MH3 informations, perhaps it need some formating like aguf when mob (s/mob/boss) have many HP. Values like 180K / 350K is more readable that 180527 / 350127.

Screenshot would be much appreciated. I'm playing a druid only myself so pet bars are quite badly tested.

That's why there's the numerical display option as well ;). Graphical display could use some tweaking I suppose, it's not as readable as I'd hope it would have been. Perhaps removing the "grow to red" style would help.

Hi, not yet sure what i think of the graphical display of the combopoints, but imo Drathals hud's showing of combopoints was very nice. It just adds some yellow "bubbles" attached to the targets healtbar, starting at bottom, and at nr 4 turning all into some other color and at nr 5 all 5 go green... Would really like to see something similar in this fabulous hud!
Maybe the 3 first should be red, at 4 orange, and then green at fifth :)
Latest version.
All Lib are up to date (huge mem leak spoted somewhere).

I used a modified version of your castbar to test my changes with fastcast and moving. If you are interested, I have it attached to this reply.
I noticed also that the breath meter counts up instead of down, as well as the feign death timer (both are on the same bar - mirror bar).

Good idea, I'll look into that.

Kinda special case.
Is there any way to remove the brackets surrounding the level of my target, or the [pvp/pve] and [leader] brackets in the Target Info module?
Example:
PlayerName
[60] Warrior [PvE][Leader]
Trying to lose the bolded stuff. I just wanted to clean it up a bit and found those I listed above just extra fluff that I didn't really need.
Thanks. : )
if you put the alpha OOC on 0% with a warr, your rage bar is still kinda visible when OOC and w/o target
also, I dont really need Target info & ToT info, but when I disable those functions, and open the menu again, they're back
besides that, love this HUD
