Im into the "evolve or die" thing, please update to LSM 3 :P
There's plenty of custom fonts for it, ppl will survive! :)
I agree, and if there's a specific font people are requesting, it should be added to IceHUD instead of relying on some other addon to provide it to LSM-2.0.
Well, the nice thing is that LSM3 also allows you to register your own fonts and stuff without them being part of the existing Shared Media. Perhaps LSM2 lets you do something similar and it's just not advertised. However, it's Parnic's mod, and if he doesn't care to update, then that's that. I think this is one of only 3 mods I have left still using LSM2, but I have no problem changing my local copy to fix that.
I searched around a bit and couldn't find an answer, so I thought I would ask here.
There is a visual bug in some of my bars where a portion of the bars shows at a higher alpha. For example, if I start to mount, the red bar for my mount casting timer starts. Anywhere between the top 1/4 and top 1/3 of the bar will be shown at 100% alpha, while the rest of the bar is shown at the normal alpha. I hope that makes sense. It's a random amount of the alpha that is changed and it doesn't happen on every bar (it doesn't seem to happen on the health or mana bars-- usually a cast bar.) I'll come back and attach a video when it's done uploading.
Is this a known bug? Have I missed a fix for it, somewhere? Anyone else have this issue?

Sounds odd...haven't had any reports of that. I'll take a look at the video when you're done with it. Thanks for reporting it.

The video kind of sucks and is rendered pretty small (by accident), but I think if you download it, you should be able to see what I'm talking about.
Here's what to watch for: I start to mount up and then I take my cursor and circle the area of the casting bar where the glitch is happening. I mount up twice in the video. You can see it better the second time, as the glitch is bigger.
If this video is just too small and crappy, let me know and I'll put together another one tomorrow. Thanks for looking into this.

It looks like the cast lag indicator to me. Have you tried turning off the cast lag display in the /icehud castbar options?
You know, that seems to have been it. And here, all this time I thought it was some type of bug. I'm assuming that, since there is no numerical explanation of the lag, the indicator is longer on the bar from time to time because the lag is inconsistent, yeah? That makes sense to me.
I noticed it was also appearing on the threat bar I use through IceHUD, too, and THAT makes sense as well.
Well, great. I will just turn that off and have IceHUD looking spectacular. Thanks for the help. Love the mod. :)
First of all, thanks for the addon! I've been looking for a good ArcHUD replacement since 2.4 went live, and IceHUD seems to fit the bill and more.
I did find one bug. though, in the GlobalCoolDown module (one of those nice feature upgrades from ArcHUD :). In the function GlobalCoolDown.prototype:CooldownStateChanged, The check for a GCD is currently:
if dur > 0 and dur <= 1 then
This is only applicable for rogues, druids in cat form, and people with over 785 haste. To make the module useful for the rest of us, this needs to change to:
if dur > 0 and dur <= 1.5 then
I made this change locally, and the GlobalCoolDown timer shows up on my unhasted Boomkin butt now.

Thanks for the report; I'll look into that. I'm sure there's a much better way to determine the GCD with the haste changes anyway.
My target cast bar *label* seems to have disappeared in the last revision or few (about the same time LSM3 was added in). Tried deleting my wtf file and still not there. There some change somewhere I missed that affected that?
*****
Edit - Mirror bar text seems to be AWOL too (no "X seconds" for breath bar underwater).

Exactly the sort of reason I tried to avoid upgrading LSM. *sigh* I'll check it out.

I'll try that right now and let you know. :)

I just added a LacerateCount module for Druid Tanks that does the same as the SunderCount module for Warriors.
Just put the "LacerateCount.lua" provided into your IceHUD/modules folder and add the line
at the end of the existing "IceHUD.toc" in the IceHUD addon folder.
You can now activate the LacerateCount module in the IceHUD config and adjust the same parameters like in the ComboPoints section.
Parnic, could you add that functionality to the main code stream?
Cheers,
Maikk

I edited that to libshardmedia 3.0 for a fix. Just passing it along
Thanks, I thought I got all the modules but obviously not. Fixed :).

I didn't think it was LSM either, that was more a point of reference than anything else. :-) I'll check labels after my daily update tomorrow morning.
