Absolutely gorgeous HUD, bravo. However, from a usability standpoint, it is lacking in comparison to other HUD solutions out there.
Really, for this addon to truly shine, considering adding the following under a Load on Demand options setting:
Scaling for text and bars alike
Offsets for text and bars alike
Alpha states depending on Combat, Out of Combat, Target, Regen
Toggles to remove Blizzard character and target frames
Right-click functionality (targeting self and rightclicking name should bring up the standard party menu)
Also please allow an option that puts your HP *and* Mana bar on one side, and target HP *and* mana/rage/energy bar on the other side.
[PS im asking for your permission before i go ahead and add this]
Thank you for that. I'd actually rather prefer to keep this "under wraps" for a little longer. In the current state this hud isn't much more than a proof of concept and wider audience asking for more features certainly wouldn't speed the developing process up.
I'll be labeling this addon with version 1.0 and publishing it on WoWInterface when I feel it's "ready". Thanks for the interest though ;).
Then under wraps it shal remain
Im starting to get around to updating the list again and thought id have a look for some new HUD's to add to the list. Stumbled across this and Orbz! and thought that they better not be left out of the list.
When you do release it to a more public place i will be sure to ask for your permission again.
Cheers!
I'm seeing an error with the Pet bars though. If I disable them in the options, then do a reload, I see "ghost" pet bars, sometimes with some text next to them like "Ind" or somthing. Here's an example.
Having issues with changing the sides of Player and Target bars. If I place PMana PHealth on left side, I end up with only one bar, rather than two side by side as desired. Same happens if I place THealth and TMana on the right side.
Also, the text does not fully disappear when you set alpha of OOC to be 0.0
Some other feature requests:
1. Sepercate scaling for all text (please unlink from bar, text is too small but having to scale bars makes the bars obscenely huge)
2. Seperate offsets for all text
3. Alpha setting for when you click a target (if OOC is set to 0 and you target something, it remains invisible)
4. Toggles to hide the default Blizzard unitframe and targetframe please.
Ok, I fixed the bar texts not completely disappearing with AlphaOOC set to 0.
Your bar problem should be fixed by adjusting individual bar offsets (if you change bar from one side to another, there's a great risk, especially with default settings, that they overlap). On more general note, please notice that offset "1" is special: Offsets greater than 1 have their texts "growing" outward and offsets 1 and less have their texts "growing" inward. This prevents the texts from overlapping.
1 & 3) More configuration options will be coming later
2) Why would you want to move bar related text away from the bar...?
4) This is something I've been thinking but I'm leaning on the "no" side atm. Reasoning being that as IceHUD doesn't provide any party frames, users are likely going to use some other unit frame addon in addition to IceHUD and that addon most likely already proviced this hiding functionality. So no reason to have same code twice. And there's always Vizor (and for our mental health, VizorGUI).
2) Why would you want to move bar related text away from the bar...?
I like to move the text to where its easier to see. At the bottom of the bar is not all that great a position for me. You could add a toggle switch at top/bottom but I'd rather be able to fine tune its location myself.
Also, the bar texts still aren't disappearing. Particularly under PMana/PHealth.
Since i have latest SVN revision i dont know ive this is Ace2 or IceHud bug.
PS: Using German WoW Client (had AceLocale something to do with language Versions?? - would be good to know for the future and bugs releated to this file..)
Gamefaq:
That's kinda strange.. My English client doesn't have that problem. Something to do with Ace2 I suppose, since I'm not using AceLocale for anything else than as a required depency for other Ace2 stuff.
Jayblah:
I'll be adding more configuration options in the future (but however I'm not sure I want to mess too much with the text positioning, it's somewhat difficult to manage already). "Second" line of texts should be invisible with AlphaOOC set to 0, "first" line is currently always 100%.

I will copy this Error entry then in the Ace2 Topic. Will see what the Ace Staff says about it
:)
Everytime I use some mouse button and I click it fast I get this error:
...\IceHUD\libs\Dewdrop-2.0\Dewdrop-2.0.lua:2024: DewdropLib: Bad argument #2 to 'IsOpen' (table excpected, got nil)
Everything is fresh from the SVN. Only by pressing some of my mousebutton's fast I get this. If I wait a second or so before I release the button there is no error :/
Really nice HUD :)
Have been using Drathals HUD for a while and miss the showing of combopoints for my rogue in IceHUD, any chance you can show combopoints in some way? (DHud shows combopoints on target healthbar)
Version 0.3
- More configuration options
- Added another texture option for bars
- /icehud now opens Dewdrop menu directly
- Rogue/cat energy ticker
- ToT stacking debuff display
- SoleManax support
- Timer bar for ToFu
Spiralis: Yea, HUD shows combo points as a number between the bars. Previous version had somewhat small number, now it's adjustable.
Oh Nice! Maybe I'll start useing blp files now instead as well, hehe. :P

Interface\AddOns\IceHUD\IceElement.lua:116: attempt to index field `?' (a nil value)
PS: I use German WoW Client.
- Added basic pet support
- Added configuration (via both console and Dewdrop)
- Fixed indexing problem with non-English clients
