someone helped me a while back with script commands i could put in a macro to lock/unlock pb frames, and to sort by class or group. i'm wondering if there's a command i can issue to force a raid frame to highlight (the border) as though the person had a debuff that's curable by me, even if briefly.
No, it's true - the cast bar text is enabled, and you see the name of the spell being cast if the target that casts the spell is your current target before he casts a spell. If I select the person in the middle of his spellcasting, I'll only see the bar and icon, but no text name of spell.
This was a bug introduced when patch 2.4 and the new PitBull came out.
Did the color of your cast bar get changed? maybe it's transparent now?? Alpha 0%
All of my addons reset today and after finishing all my reconfigurations the health on my target frame doesn't change color for NPC mobs, how do I put this back on?

Also getting this bug. As far as I can tell it's not an alpha setting - if you target before the spell cast it functions perfectly fine, but if you target after the spell has begun casting you only see the bar and icon. Incidentally, if you interrupt the cast when you can't see the name like this it flashes up the name of the last spell anything you had targetted cast. Example from today:
Targetted myself while summoning people at a summoning stone, the cast bar for "Meeting Stone Summon" appeared as it should on the target frame. After zoning in and doing the first pull I see a mob I'm not currently targetting begin casting, so I change target to it. At this point all I see is an icon and a bar (both accurate), no spell name. I then interrupt this spell, and the target frame for the mob shows the spell I just interrupted as named "Meeting Stone Summon".
Unrelated, the debuffs for the target of target frame seem to be updated incorrectly when some debuffs are removed. I can't easily repeat this but it was most obvious when tanking Brutallus - I use the target of target frame to monitor how many of a stacking debuff called 'Meteor Slash' are on his current target (my target of target). Brutallus' current target can also get a non-stacking debuff called Burn, which is much shorter duration, and a second debuff called Stomp that will remove Burn.
If his current target has at least one Meteor Slash debuff and Burn both are displayed correctly. However, when Stomp is applied and Burn removed from his current target it stops displaying the Meteor Slash debuff, even if additional applications are added to the stack. It still shows an empty space in the target of target debuff list where Meteor Slash should be, but the only way I can get it to display the icon and number of applications is to change to another target (and hence target of target) then back again.
Apologies for the long winded and convoluted explanation, but mid raid I wasn't in a rush to screenshot this. I've not noticed it anywhere else but then outside raids there's few times when my target of target gets any number of debuffs that update regularly (or where I care enough to notice the debuff list).
This looks like taint from another addon that's being blamed on PitBull. Try disabling PitBull and using your macro in combat, and disable whichever addon gets blamed then. Repeat until the error stops popping up - the last addon you disabled was the culprit.

will try thanks

Is there a setting for me to make the border of my player frame turn red, for instance when I am in combat? I know that Banzai changes my hp bar colour but I didn't like that, because the HP colour / HP background colour were hard to distinguish. I also know that I could use alpha changes in combatfader to indicate when I am in combat - however, I'm not a great fan of fade effects.
I would just like the border to turn red when I'm in combat. Is that possible?
If that isn't possible, is there some way for me to change Banzai's settings so that my HP bar and HP BG colours aren't red / dark red when in combat? It is really hard to tell when I'm low on hp with those colours.
I'm not sure but it seems like since BabbleSpell was removed from the RangeCheck module, PitBull no longer needs LibBabble-Spell-3.0.
But LibBabble-Spell-3.0 is still referenced in the svn:externals and in the X-Embeds of the file PitBull.toc.
And it seems like some OptionalDeps are missing in PitBull.toc. Or isn't it correct that all libraries should be in the OptionalDeps so it's ensured that they get loaded before the addon itself?
I'm having a small conflict between Pitbull and Mapster when used with AddonLoader. When I open up Mapster for the first time during a session, all visible 3D portraits are visually reset to full body mode. I've found several ways to reset the portraits back to head only mode: 1) Go into my Pitbull options and manually toggle full-body mode on and then off. 2) Hide and then reshow the affected frame (ie, target something else). 3) Hide and then reshow my entire UI (this is actually the fastest option). After I have toggled the display, the problem does not repeat itself until I relog or reload my UI. If I set AddonLoader to always load Mapster, this problem does not occur. I've also reported this to the Mapster authors.
removed remaining 2.3 compat, and all references to Parser and Babble-Spell (fixes PB-384)
Thanks, but can you please also remove the X-Embeds reference to LibBabble-Spell-3.0 in the toc-file so WAU doesn't download it unnecessary?
And could you please also comment on my second paragraph?

I am still having a problem where I cannot select another combat text font (i.e., the numerical text that appears over bars when damage is taken or healing is received). Other fonts appear in the drop down list, but when I try to select another font the list I can't even click on it and the selection still shows the default Fritz Quadrata TT. Any update on this? Thanks.

Everytime I invite someone to a group, I get this error (PitBull)
And after the person has accepted the invite, I get the Grid error.
Help anyone?
thanks in advance :D

No, I can see the yellow cast bar but the text is gone =(

Macros work fine, but it's rly irritating getting 50+ lines of spam to ur chat every time you use em :(
any1 got idea whats causing this?

I would really, really like to know this also.... With xperl there is a keybind for showing raid frames. Is there something like this for pitbull?
