I'm really sorry about that.. I didn't pay enough attention I guess. The opacity issue (#2) is *not*
the first bug I described persists though. I can't rule it out for buffs.. but it certainly has that behaviour with debuffs. No matter which debuff I cast on the target (hunter's mark, beast lore, * Sting) it sometimes uses the debuff's icon as background to the whole target frame. Sometimes it's just the health bar background.. but usually it's the whole frame. I will try to provide some screenshots later that day.. unless this error is well known and you already know what I am talking about (:
I have this same problems. It happened quite often in Gruul's and Mag last night for me. Nothing game-breaking, just highly annoying. It only occurred with my own buffs, could happen on Target, ToT, or ToToT, could usually be fixed simply by deselecting and reselecting the mob, though I couldn't come up with why it sometimes did that and sometimes didn't. It wasn't only when by debuffs were applied first, nor only when they were applied after others. The icon often changed to the most recent debuffs when new ones were applied (i.e. show Weaving, and then change to SW:Pain when applied, though this didn't happen every time I don't think).
Is there any way to get rid of the buff/debuff shading timers? They're more annoying than anything to me since I use a separate DoT timer.
I recently came back to playing after a short break WoW and gathered all the latest versions of the addons I'd been using over the summer. I use PitBull for my userframes, and I'm having some trouble with the incoming heals that I'm sure were possible before. The problems is that I can see the green bar that indicates the amount that's going to be added when I heal myself on both my unitframe and that of my target, in this case myself. But I can't get the green bar on other players when in battlegrounds, it's not a big deal but it was really useful in making sure I wasn't overhealing too much. I tried searching these forums and others, and I most problems relating to incoming heals seem to focus on the raidframes and on Grid. I tried disabling GridIncomingHeals but that made no difference, the incoming heals still work on my own character but not on others.
Hopefully that description makes sense, if not I can make some screenshots.
-edit; further playing suggest it's a problem for characters on different realms. I'll guess I have to assume it's no longer possible.
Hmm I found the combat fader, but it's still semi transparent, not completely hidden when ooc.
Well thats the only way i know of, and personally i think lowest setting is "gone" enough
(i run my playerframe at 30% ooc and 70% ic, on raid and target frames i use range check instead at 50%or and 100% ir, rest of UI at set 50%)
One question: I haven`t figured out how to use the predefined layouts that come with PB. How can I choose them? Thanks
There are no predefined layouts that come with PitBull. Only the default.
@ohi: You most definitely can do that with the CombatFader module. I did it myself. You can change in the options what you want it set at. (Global Settings perhaps.)
Those are left over in your folder from the old PitBull. PitBull hasn't used pre-defined layouts for 4-5 months, when ck introduced all of the new options.
edit: I would delete your PitBull folder and reinstall.
I completely new to Pitbull (and Ace as a whole), and I'm having some problems getting Pitbull to work satisfying.
In short, my player and target frames are ok, but my focus frame (and focus' target) is flickering weirdly. To me it seems like the combatfader is out of control or something.
I've uploaded a video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pqWRC7PzZwk
If I enter the configuration mode: party, it seems to also be a problem for party targets, player pet and more ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p6y-3xMNwYw )
I'm using PitBull-r53016.24 (I've also tried PitBull-r51570.47 and PitBull-r51570.9 without more luck)
I've tested it on some different EU realms on the current WoW version (2.2.x?)
EDIT: Forgot to mention that I have both done /reloadui and closed WoW several times. Also changing Combatfading values for i.e. focus frame doesn't seem to help either.
EDIT2: Setting the Out-of-combat opacity value to 100% stops the flickering :] - the further from 100% it get's, the worse the flickering.
Have anyone experienced anything similar, or does anyone have a hint about what's happening?
Offtopic: Is the BugTracker down? I can't get anything related to BugTracker to work anyway
When i check the Pitbull folder there is other layouts there like oUF,Seerah and Buu. I also got sharedmedia installed and i got more options from it in Clearfont 2 so it is working also.
Do you have both combatfader and range check enabled?
They fight over opacity of the frames, making them flicker.
Thanks very much, Vuurmeester, that did the job.
I just unzipped to the addons directory and used the default settings, and that means that both rangecheck and combatfader is enabled.
Also I had the effect that my pet never faded (I guess it was always in range), but after disabling the rangecheck module, all is fine :)

I'm about to switch from DiscordUnitFrames to Pitbull, but I can't seem to duplicate my DUF layout, that I'd like to keep up.
Here is a screen of both unitframes. Pitbull is on the top, DUF on the bottom:
As you can see the problem doesn't seem to be quite important, as there are few differences between the layouts. However I'd like the semi-transparent background of the UF to extend on the right, behind the health/power %, just like on the DUF layout.
I've tried to extend the width of the Pitbull UF and to anchor the %ages inside instead of outside, as shown here:
But it doesn't really suits my taste.
I've found nothing in the Rock config panel that could solve this little problem. Can something be done by editing a .lua file? Is there a way to set the width of the bars so that they do not fill the unit frame, from the portrait to the other edge?
If nothing can be done, I guess I'll have to stick with DUF until the end of its support. Or maybe make do with Pitbull's limits instead 8)
p.s: Yes, I know, it is much ado about nothing ;)
p.p.s: I've read many pages of this topic, but haven't seen any similar problem. Forgive me if this issue has already been discussed.

Set combatfader to 0% alpha when out of combat.

Hmm, I downloaded PB from the zip-page. There is a folder inside: layouts. There seem to be predefined layout like oUF, Buu,... and yours Seerah.

How do I disable this?
http://rapidshare.com/files/66102654/pitbull_debuff.wmv.html
This bug (it's not a feature is it) only appears if Buffs are disabled within Alt-Aura.
If you have both Debuffs and Buffs enabled you are just fine.
When i try to change to layout for the unitframes it is only one avalible
layout and that is ABF.
