It was working fine for me and then last night I joined a party with two other people and their portraits disappeared (I was using 3-d portraits). All that was left was giant health/mana bars. ReloadUI brought them back though so I didn't worry too much.
I auto-updated today's Pitbull thinking that maybe there was a problem and that would help it and now when I logged in portraits are totally gone for me and for target/focus etc. I went in to play with the options and Portraits are just gone. There aren't any options to change them in the menu.
Total mess. I have a Mac so I used Time Machine to bring up an old version but it is still a mess. Pitbull is not accurate at all and I have to dump it in between bosses tonight because I can't tell what is going on. Health and Mana bars are way off.
You just need to update, then go into your PitBull settings enable the Portrait module again. Apologies for the confusion, but it was unavoidable in the process of fixing an old bug.
Since my post? I updated earlier this afternoon as I said and portrait just wasn't available at all. I had to download AG unit frames for my raid tonight.

Then you weren't looking in the right place. Go to PitBull -> Modules and check the box next to "Portrait".
I can't even get any options up at the moment. Keep getting this error:
LibRockConfig-1.0: Bad return from function "args" for `PitBull'. Expected "table", got "string" ("@cache").:

Also a friend can't change any options.. am gonna try clean install and see if that helps.
EDIT: Clean install didn't help either. Also getting similar error using ALT + Right Click to bring up unitframe settings. In place of "OnEnterPressed" is "SecureUnitButton_OnClick"
I was wondering if I could get a hand here too, as I updated to the newest version of Pitbull, but now I cant open the rock pitbull menu (Bugsack screams at me), yet the unitframes from before the addon-update are still the same. I dont really want to deleted my Pitbull savedvariables (<3 my current setup), so is there anything I can do to help?
Sorry to hijack the thread,
Kind regards,

You're experiencing the same problem as I am. Although I'm a bit confused with how pitbull saves it's settings. Savedvariables alone wont wipe the settings, they're saved somewhere else ;o
No, PitBull stores its settings the same way as any other addon, and the only way allowed by Blizzard - in the saved variables files.
I deleted my Pitbull saved variables from all account/characters and fired up WoW and the frames were the same as before I deleted them. I'm 100% certain about that.
Also, did some more poking about, seems Parrot gives the same error as Pitbull.

The issue is that you have an old version of LibRockConfig-1.0 lying around. There is a bug in LibStub that prevents proper upgrading of the old versions, but that is worked around in the Rock libraries themselves. It means that every single Rock library you have lying around needs to be upgraded to work around the issue.
Same problem as Grendalf. I use WAU daily (if not hourly) and have all my addons updating WITHOUT externals, so there shouldn't be anything lying around. But I still got that LibRockConfig error.
I have deleted all librock libraries , redownload them without externals and I am still getting the same error. I have the version 62579. By the way, this error occurs only with Pitbull...
new to these forums. I wanted to chime in and mention that after I updated to the newest version of pitbull i also get the same issues as the last few posters above. My UFs stayed the way i had them in Pitbull, but i cannot open the config menu via /pitbull or see it in the ACE config utility. I get some sort of error when i first try /pitbull (something about rock libs). after the first error, it doesnt give me any more errors, but it also doesnt open up pitbull config.
I decided to disable cartographer to see if that was the cause of the problem and, well, it seems it was. Not sure what about cartographer was causing the issue though. Doing some more research and will post back with what I find.
Thanks

Anyone knows what happens here?
Thank you
edit: I use WUU not WAU. My guildmates use WAU and probably they configured it wrong but they almost always have problems when they update. WUU is <3
Your LibRockConfig-1.0 is out of date.
I have deleted all librock libraries , redownload them without externals and I am still getting the same error. I have the version 62579. By the way, this error occurs only with Pitbull...
