After much fiddling I finally have a layout I can live with, and that doesn't change on each login. However, when I try to copy this profile to another profile via Rock, I get the following error.

Needles to say, nothing gets copied. Can anyone please tell me how to solve this problem, I've given up trying to add the profile by hand.

Trying to copy a Parrot profile gives similar results, so I guess the problem lies with Rock and not the individual mods.

I'm not able to copy profiles either and it's really a pain in the butt. Pitbull has so many configurations (which is awesome) and once I get the layout I like, I need to copy it to other profiles. This rock config seems really glitchy so far. I've had numerous problems with it too.

after the 5th time reconfiguring my pitbull, i disabled it and loaded DUF. it may be old but it at least it works.

The problem is still there today, after seeing the new add-on preferences thingy I was optimistic, but alas, it still gives the same errors. Is the problem in Pitbull or Rock/Addon Preferences ?

I made a profile named 'Test' before Rock for my main character. I recently made a new character, which got 'Default' profile for Pitbull.

I can't copy my 'Test' parameters in 'Default' profile.

I can't apply my 'Test' profile to my new characters.

Several hours of configuration gone to bin.

This feature has been abandoned as far as I can tell. Despite being the most commonly reported problem on the forums and on JIRA, and existing for three months now, the author has not responded to the issue of profile copying once. Pretty sure he's decided to just forget about it at this point.

Your options are to use DUF, as mentioned above, or to use the pre-Rock version of PitBull from early September.

I finally gave up using PitBull, though I liked it very much...

Too many bugs, colossal memory usage, no support for ages, etc.
