Is that going to sort them just by max health? If thats all I am able to do I guess thats ok.
That is on track of what I want though. I am not really sure of how the logic works, but I am thinking all the people in the raid should just be treated as a pool of people so i can sort them however is needed.
to further answer your question. pre 1.12 you could do all sorts of auto magic things with stuff. when the Grate Nerf of 1.12 came upon us all we where no longer allowed to Create, Destroy (nil), Automagicly Move or Change the Atributes (Click to Cast stuff) of anything involving UnitFrames or Spells (action bars ect), In combat. Thus what you ask is explicity DENIED by Blizzard.
you can sort your units in your raid by scripting, the pseudo code i posted several posts earlier will with a horrible inefficiency sort all units in your raid by health.
you can sort your unitframes this way, by moving whichever frames have whatever in them, but this cannot be scripted during combat.
Your question didn't specify which of the following things you were trying to do:
If you were looking for a health monitor like we know it from the old days, you can't.
If you for some reason want the people sorted in the raid so you can examine their health, you can.
Hmm, can I lend this topic for a question, as it's also about raid grouping?
I really wish for a possibility in Pitbull to set the grouping sorted by raiding roles (instead the now possible raidgroup/class sorting), that is 4 groups (tank, healer, ranged, melee).
One way to do this would be if the group sorting could be done by guild ranks (my guils is using different ranks for each roles).
An even more perfect way would be if there would be an option to add a value to each known player (this stored in a database), that sets his role. In this case a 5th (unknown role) group would be needed.
I know ofc that these ideas would be all new features, the second solution could be nicely done as an addon to pitbull more than a core feature.
I think lot of ppl would like to have a setup like this. What do you guys think? How hard do you think this would be to code? Maybe someone got inspiration to try to make it? :)
On the original topic:
He was talking about MAX health. This does not change that often, although there are those new trinkets now.
Somehow many seem to have been jumping the train to reading it as auto sorting like in the old days (current health).
Sodd, I think this is possible, might put it on jira for feature req.
Those roles can automatically be gotten by analyzing members class and talent points, which afaik is now possible. Better than manual databases i guess.
