I know there's a way to do it, but I can't figure it out for the life of me. Here's the deal:
I have a custom layout that I created for my Player and Target frames, but every single time I log in I have to reset it to that layout. How do I save it so that they are saved and I don't have to do that every time I log in?
I am a brand spanking new user of Pitbull. Well, I would have been if they were 'usable'..
I DL'ed Pitbull off of the wowace.com/files yesterday and gave it a go, and I shortly ran into a problem:
I can't seem to change profiles, nor save them, import them or anything.
I really think there is some serious lacking in the intuitivity of the rock user interface when it comes to the part of saving, changing and selecting active settings, so it might just be that I'm doing it all wrong, but at any rate I ended up unable to use it.
When I restart the game the settings reverted back to a perverted version of my settings vs the default settings, (Probably since I started modifying with the default setting enabled?) and not the settings I logged out with.
A reset of any layout/profile did not work.
Changing profiles did not do anything.
Enabling frames that had been diabled didn't work.
Buff display didn't save through the logout/restart.(AltAura) ( I know this has been said numerous times already but Auras needs a serious owerhaul)
Modules settings got reset during logout/restart.
Copying layoutsettings from one frame to another one didn't work.
But I must say that this mod would have been awesome if I just could get it to work like I wanted it too. I've been an avid Discord user for as long as i can remember, and I love tinkering away with my frames, but after spending quite some time yesterday tinkering about to get the frames/setup I wanted, and then having it all reset to some chaotic halfbreed bastard from the seventh plane of UI hell really cocked up my fun..
just to make sure I've not caused this chaos by my own "rush in with guns a-tooting" attitude; could anyone link me, or write up -if not an entire user guide- atleast a guide as to how one selects a profile to work on, how the saving mechanics of changes made are handled, and if there is a workaround to the "not saving through restarts" problem. I really do want to use this mod you see, as I feel it's got loads of potential, but as of now it's not useable to me.
Thanks for your time and help -provided you give any. ;)
