Hello, i tried to search this topic for questions about this issue already, but i couldn find it, so here is my question:
When i select StatusBar Textures for the first character where i have set up PitBull i have about 15 options or so. But if i try the same on one of my alts where i copied the settings from the first char, i automatically get the basic texture and only 2-3 options i can choose from, and Not including the one from the profile i copied.
If you're using SharedMedia for textures, make sure it's enabled on your alt. If you're not, those other texture options are being registered from another addon that's only enabled on the first character, but not the alt.
I've been using Pitbull for a while and feel I know it relatively well, i've come up against 2 things that i'm not sure about.
First is probably something pretty simple. (see Image3.jpg attached) I want to set a maximum number of chars to be displayed on the target name, so after X number, it'd say (in that example) Mangorn Flinth... because at the mo, its extending over to the next unit frame's space for mobs with long names like bosses.
Secondly, and more confusingly is an issue i had before and in the end, had to reinstall Pitbull to bodge fix it. When i login to any of my chars, my Player unit frame (and ONLY the player unit frame) defauls to a different position to the one that i have it locked at when i log out... as you can see in Image1.jpg, it starts there, half over the other frame and i have to move it every time i logon. It does this on my alts, bank alts, the lot. It should like Image2.jpg and thats how I leave it locked, when i log out and yet somehow it moves itself again?

I need to kwown if it's possible to display the group number on top on each group when I in raid. When you are in raid "Configuration mode" you can see the group number (Group X) on the top of each group but not when your are the "Configuration mode" disabled
And if it's not possible, I need kwown if with eepanel2 and can do that.
After tweaking my PitBull setup a bit last night, I have 2 requests:
1. It'd be greatly appreciated to add a colour setting to the options for various Text bits. I know text colour can be set via DogTags by using a custom setting, but having an option within the PitBull gui to choose the colour would be more helpful for simple colour changes to default text.
2. Could the ability to scale the Combo Points marks please be added. I like have the dots display on the Target frame to show combo point accumulation, but would prefer the ability to increase the scale of the dots (or even select a different colour/graphic for them).
@Dutorien: use the DogTag [RaidGroup] - either add it to a text area you already have, or create a new text area. Either way, you'll have to have one text area set to custom and type it in how you want it. See the DogTag wiki for more info.
@saltorio:
1. tbh, imo, just use DogTags. To have color selection added in the PitBull config, more code would need to be added, more options, and more variables saved. For the few people that wish to color their text, just use DogTags. That way you can get the exact color you want anyway, and be able to have it the same color instead of just guessing.
2. There are two choices for combo point graphics already. Merely replace one of those with what you want (while you're exited out of the game) and it should work for you. Haven't tried it myself, though.
I wish there was an "OnHover" modifier that would allow you, for example, to show just the HP% but show CurHP/MaxHP on mouseover. I would've put this on the wish list, but Wikis are annoying as hell. >)
Just use... I think it's "/vz list" to list the frames Visor is modifying. It's possible your unit frame(s) got added to the list at some time. If they're there, use "/vz del <FrameName>" to remove them. Double-check the commands though, it's been a while since I used Visor.
Edit: also, you'll have to reload your UI after you remove the frame(s) from Visor's list. Then you should be able to place them without Visor interfering.

ye thats got it :) just 'grabbed' the frame using Visor2's UI and deleted the frame settings.

Is there a way to realize this?

Anyone got any ideas?
Cheers for your help
See my post on page 37 of this thread:

I love PitBull. Keep up the great work.
Do you use Visor, MoveAnything, or any other addon that moves frames?

Link? :P I didn't see one in the OT or Wiki. >)
It's mentioned on WoWAce front page. Seems very nice so far. Here's a direct link:

Yeh i use Visor.. could it be that? I'll try uninstalling Visor and see what happens :)
