1. Enable the changing of text colors (I've looked and looked but can't figure out how).
You can do this via DogTag modifiers. For example, set the Name text to "Custom" and define it as [Name:Yellow]. Or you could use [CurHP:HPColor] to change the color of your health depending on how low you are (green -> red). Check out the dogtag wiki for more info.
I'm no rocket scientist, but I have done some programming in the past. It would seem that since there's a definite frame for "Text" and configuration ability, that it wouldn't be that hard to add a color option to the configuration box rather than having to hard code it.
Anyknoe knows why in a portrait mode that shows whole body some models are OK, but some (esp. elementals and some beasts) are like extreme closeup textures?
As a hunter I don't need to be able to see the raidframes all the time. With X-Perl I had the option to bind a key to toggle between showing and hiding the raidframes. I also had a keybind to switch between sorting by class and by group. Both of which are features I'm currently missing in PitBull (or is there already slash or script command to do this?).
Is there really no way to do the above explained? It'd really be appreciated.
I've seen posts about how it's not possible to have pets under their owner in parties and I'm fine with that. I perfer to use the 'Square' layout for pets to keep all pets together anyways.
Is it possible to have this Square group of pets attach to the bottom of the party frame, or is this also not doable thanks to Blizzard? With a full group I set the pets below the bottom member, no problem. With only 1 or 2 people in the group there's now a big gap between the party and pets since the pets.
My target frame will occasionally fill with the combat icon (the crossed swords) stretched across its entire area. I have icons disabled for target, ToT and ToTT. This can appear in all 3 of those frames, but only one at a time. The only situation I could possibly guess this happening in is me staying out of combat, someone runs into combat, I target them and then the combat icon fills their frame.
It happens only a handful of times per night in SSC and isn't really a big pain on trash. However, it did bug once on a boss fight and the frame for the MT was covered in the icon the duration of the fight.
The aura code is really killing this unitframe mod for me. The interface lag introduced when I enable the display of debuffs on an enemy target ( which in a raid, can end up being quite a few debuffs) is really, really unworkable. While enabling debuff filtering resolves the stuttering it's not really a great solution because I can't see if a mob has sunders up, or curse of tongues, etc...
I very much agree with this. I had to disable the aura module because there were so many display bugs... I really love pitbull but how do you play w/out buff/debuff info?
Bumping for same thing.. performance is BAD with debuffs not filtered on targets.. and filtering them is hurting me in raids, this is a very serious performance issue for which mention has been made dozens of times by folks on this forum. Do we have any idea in the slightest how this can be resolved? Conflict with other mods perhaps?
I know i've posted on it a few times, and I've watched entire threads develop on this topic - seriously, can we hammer this one out once and for all? Perhaps we should begin compiling a list of UI mods ran by everyone with this issue and hunt for conflicts? Every so often, one person comes around and says they have no problem at all with auras/debuffs on target unit and such.. what makes them different from me? I can surely say its not the performance of my PC which I'd say is fairly high end (E6700 / 4gb ram / 8800GTX). Please?

I would say it's some conflict with other mods, or maybe depends on which modules you have enabled. I haven't had performance problems with aura module, in PvE or PvP raids, in a long time, when some issue was fixed (I can't recall exactly what it was).
If it helps, I have both buffs and debuffs unfiltered on target frame. Same for player/pet frames, only debuffs filtered on ToT frame, only buffs filtered on raid frames. I don't use modules like Banzai, Spark, EstimatedHeals, InteractLines, BarFader, CombatFader, only the basic ones. I don't think it makes a difference, but I have disembedded libraries and non-LoD Pitbull modules.
don't have any problems iwth pit bull on a regular basis, granted my frame rate does drop to abou 11, in AV mid combat. but it always comes back to 15-25 (normal for me and looks fine)
i run alot of ace framework addons, and with all 40 debuffs showing on the target frame. Try filtering ALL Other frames to just castable/cureable. As for computer ... it was worse when i had just 1gb of ram, now i got 2gb of ram and do just fine.
Is there a way to somehow lock a party member's pet to his frame? Usually if I have a toon with a pet join the party, his pet comes up somewhere around the party frames, but it's not locked into position with the toon itself... If another member joins and the one with the pet gets bumped down, the pet stays up where it was... it's just annoying. I've already changed the spacing between my party members, nice how it keeps them all together if I need them to be... now I'm just curious about party members' pets.
If I remember correctly, I don't think any frame replacement addon can do this at the moment, due to a change blizzard made in the party frames, or something like that. Answer's somewhere in this thread though, for sure.
I know this is a few days past.. but yes i know of one frame replacement addon that does place a bar for the pet in the parties player box... classic perl does which i am still using. this is one of two reasons i have not switched to pitbull. other is raid lag. but time will fix this and/or i'll have a bigger computer by then :P

I would like to second this request, I have set up my party frames and party pet frames in an intricate pattern now, but to have them grouped would be awesome - if it's even possible... And while I'm on the bandwagon, having the raid pets grouped with the raid frames would be the pinnacle of awesomeness.
But even without those features I would (almost) rather play without the world frame than without the pitbull frames.... :P Thanks a lot for your work ckknight!

It happens only a handful of times per night in SSC and isn't really a big pain on trash. However, it did bug once on a boss fight and the frame for the MT was covered in the icon the duration of the fight.
The same happens to me, too. I'll try to reproduce it in the situation you described.
But it doesn't stop there. Sometimes whole screen areas turn uni-colored. Starting point for those areas are corners of debuff icons, as if the icon is just a color and infinitely large.
Another bug: Occasionally my combo points (rogue here) slip into my energy bar and move with the energy ticker. I don't know what causes this because it's pretty rare.

I had this one happen to me for the first time last night after opening and closing the map, thankfully opening and closing the map made it go away again.
I'm also seeing the old bug where text vanishes from unitframes when I open and close the map.
This seems to happen randomly when I switch targets but it does happen on average once every 4-5 target switches. It is not mob specific as it happens when I target myself sometimes and I can clear it by targetting nothing then myself again. I have been playing with my current combination of addons for almost a month now and have never had this problem on my alliance mage (which I play most often). I update my addons daily and this has been happening for a week now so I figure it is not a known bug yet. I also have not noticed this behavior on my warrior.
This happened to me too, just with the combat icon. It turned out that whenever a party member got in combat their combat icon would span my entire targetframe - I figured out that it was because the combat icon wasn't positioned at all so it was just thrown onto that frame instead.
My advice to you is this!
Turn on configuration mode and make sure that all the unitframes you've got enabled have their auras positioned correctly.
Instead of auras make sure your combat icons are positioned correctly.
I'd like to request a feature: colored backgrounds for Blank bars.
I love being able to color health/power bars by class color/class color for pvp enemies/reaction/reaction for NPCs. What I'd love even more is if I could color the Blank bar that way. That way, even if a target is low on health, I still have a big visual indicator of its class or reaction to me.
Could you add an option to the CombatFader that let's my frames stay "in combat" if their health is not full?
Or as an alternative, combine the range check and combat fader so they are not constantly competing with each other, and simply add a list of conditions NOT to fade: In-range, In-combat, NotMaxHP. Obviously the user would have to choose his conditions carefully in order to still receive meaningful feedback from the fading. However, it would simply things greatly if all these options were in one place.

Mitch, have a look here, I think that's exactly your problem. Hopefully that thread helps to fix the bug.
