I add mine via the MyMedia.lua in the SharedMedia addon
would you mind telling me how plz?
Thank you :D
Create MyMedia.lua if it doesnt exist, and put in :
function myMedia:OnInitialize()
local SML = AceLibrary:HasInstance("SharedMedia-1.0") and AceLibrary("SharedMedia-1.0") or nil
if SML then
SML:Register("statusbar", "D2L", "Interface\\Addons\\SharedMedia\\mymedia\\D2L")
end
end
I'm having problems with some health/power bar textures, at least I think it's those areas. The picture below pretty much explains my problem. It seems to happen a lot when I open my map in BGs, then when I return to the game screen my player frame, or target frame ends up as shown below.
I'm currently using the latest build of PitBull, r42341.
I make my own configuration for the frames but when I exit the game and launch it again, I loose everything.
1) What can I do?
2) How can I save this config? I tried by the "profile" menu but it is not working...
Is it me, or is the ability to change the font size on text elements broken again? It went a long time where if you shrunk a text element down < 95% it made no difference how far you went, and then it got fixed.
For a week it worked as expected, I could scale any text (like power text or health text) down to whatever percentage I wanted. Now it's back like it was before. Was this an intentional change?
Also, is there ever any hope for getting a slider to adjust the spacing of auras from the unit frames? As you can see in this screenshot:
My settings were also failing to save....then suddenly they seemed to save, completely at random...think it might have been after a crash actually ; D
Also, i've having a problem with my raid frames, in that i set up all my group frames how i want, then when i go and change MT Frames, or MT Target Frames, it actually resizes certain group frames at the same time (such as grp2 linked to MT frames, grp 3 linked to MTT frames, grp 5 linked to MA frames).
I'll have a look next time i jump on and see if i can get a screenshot of it.
Anyway to make the background on the Reputation bar transparent, like it is on a Black Space.
If you look at the following screenshot:
I'm trying to make Player and Target be very similar in layout. For the most part they are very similar. One exception is that I don't want to put the Castbar on the Player frame because I can see what I'm casting since Quartz is right beside. I already have a Black Space on the bottom part of the frame where the Player Name is. So I would just need a second Black Space on the top part where the green bar is for Reputation, or make the background on the Reputation bar transparent. I've tried custom colors and making it as close as possible but you can still notice it.
Anyway this can be added, or if it already is there point me in the right direction to get it the way I want?
Anyone else having issues with buff or debuff icons, or even the combo points of my rogue, becoming the spark?
Someone what odd though that on my druid, it's almost always the buff/debuff windows (my own or the target's, and on my rogue, so far it's only been target combo points. Never seen my druid's cat form combo points become the spark.
Yes, the buffs do completely move left to right as the spark.
There is a bug with PitBull tag overlapping the unitframe and not beeing shortened if there is no tag on the other side of the frame preventing this:
On the left side of the screen I have health text enabled and set to hide... it works but the "..." are kinda misplaced for me and it looks a bit ugly.
On the right side of the screen there is health text disabled and therefore the name overlaps the unitframe.
Could you add an Option to hide the "..." and display as many chars as possible (like Grid)?
And about your problem with names, did you tried using Trunc() in name-text?
Ah thanks for the hint ^^ [Name:Trunc(7)] solved the problem.
Thats just usual raid grouping.
And the style is just Smooth v2 texture from SharedMedia pack and resized 50x24, Font is Myriad Pro Semibold Condensed.
Since updating today via the SVN (I updated yesterday and did not have this issue), the portrait frame keeps showing up. Not the portrait itsself, but the box the portrait shows up in.
I have the module disabled entirely. If I re enable it (portrait shows up) and disable it goes away, but if I logout the box comes back.
As well if I have a pet out and summon a new one, the box shows back up.

Same problem here. Enabling and disabling the module makes the player one go away, but the target and target of target ones are still there and out of place.

I get the same bug. Only solution is to deactivate the spark :(
And i also get this square from time to time:
It fades in like my unitframes, so i guess its a part of it.
I have my name set to show <AFK ##:##> after it showing my afk duration. Last night I afk'ed right out of the game. When I logged back in the <AFK ##:##> tag was still there with the timer going. I had to manually turn afk on then off to clear it. Not sure if this is PitBull or DogTag related.
Could texts which are the only text in a particular bar be automatically truncated to fit (using ...) in the bar? I know I could do it with Trunc() but I think it should be something that's done automatically.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks!
Still occures :(
Druid in cat form with "Player in party" option and "Hide non-mana".
Also something wrong with druid mana bar I see it empty (in bear form) or it's not shown at all (cat form).

I'd love to be able to bump those auras up a bit so they aren't overlapping my eePanels.
