I configured the following unit frames in Pitbull to be the way I like them and my brother wanted to setup his the same way. I noticed an import/export options in the dropdown menus but the export is greyed so I can't use it. Is there a special way to use this feature? Or if its already been covered, could someone point me to the right place to look.
What you probably haven't done and what you'll need to do is go to the unitframe's menu, go to Other > Layout > Save layout, and type the name of the layout that you want. Make it a spiffy name. Your layout deserves it.
Having done that, go to the Pitbull menu and try exporting again. If you have any further trouble, post again regarding it.
Thanks for the compliment, took a while to get em exactly how I wanted em and still need to tweak the party frames a bit.
The mod that shows the "20 Holy (Seal of Rightousness)" is a combo of SCTD and SpellAlertSCT
I was able to Save the layout and name it. When I go to the PitBull menu>Layouts> Export Layout, its not greyed out and the arrow is yellow but no new dropdown or anything pops up. I was able to use the "Send in game" option to a guildie but my brother is on another server, thats why I wanted to use the export function. Am I just missing something or is there some other info I can provide to help troubleshoot it?
mm im confused on how to load the layouts ~ i followed exactly what the intruction said on the other thread ~ which was copy and pasy the "code" onto the mod in layout > import > ok. But it doesnt turn out the way it shows on that Screen shot :/
This may seem a little odd, but I don't have any export or import function available anywhere in my drop down menus. I suppose I could just copy my config files from the savedvariables folder but that would overwrite any previous modifications where it was imported.
