01. Need some text variable, that will show things like SRF does: Fearward, Last Stand, Shield Wall, Shadowform and so on...
Not entirely sure what you mean, since I don't think I've used SRF, but have you checked out the DogTag wiki?
03. Add option to disable nrg / rage showing plz. in the raid its fantasticly uselss space eater.
Hide the mana/rage/energy bars. (option's already there)
I think he wants to see mana bars, but not rage/energy, I agree this would be a nice addition, and unless I missed it too, its not there atm. You either see all 3, or none at all.
Thanks a ton for posting that, it works great for Pitbull. It does seem to break Aloft though :(
[2007/04/30 21:55:26-921-x13]: Aloft-1.0\Aloft.lua:478: attempt to call method 'GetHealth' (a nil value)
---
It's probably trying to call an un-emulated method - I'll try to poke around when I get some time.
Well then Aloft uses a MH3-API-call I haven't emulated yet - should be easy to implement - I'll post an updated version of my wrapper as soon as I can spare some time for it :)
Cool thanks :) I poked around but noticed that MI2 seems to have a much more restrictive API, so emulating the more complex-looking call that Aloft was trying to make didn't look like a trivial task.
I've reinstalled MobHealth3 for now because I want to give Aloft a good try (I like it so far, especially for my melee alts).
Feature Request for Party Frames Square Layout. Currently there are set to:
1 2
3 4
I would like an option to change it to:
3 4
1 2
I currently can do this editing the Pitbull.Lua via changing the min & max values for 'spacing' & 'hspacing' to something like -1000 -> 1000. This allows the party to grow upward and many people to keep their UI down low when not in a full party. A Growth type option might resolve this in a neater fashion, although the above hack also works.
I used such large value to deal with the constricting current values.
I think I found a bug of sorts. For somereasson once I installed the unit frames I came across a problem. Whever I buff a unit (or my self) my target unit frame takes on the icon of the buff I cast and stretches it out to fill the width/height that would be the target frame.
Anyone know how to fix this?
as a side note it seems to be tided to inifity bar... the closest thing to flexbar I have found... should I just stop using it for the time being?
I get this bug a lot. There are no errors that bugsack grabs, I reinstalled Pitbull via WAU and again by downloading manually and unpacking using .bat. I also have nuked my WTF folder and this bug still appears. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.
Common problem when using the Seerah layout. Switch to the ABF layout and you won't see it. Not ideal of course, as I prefer the Seerah layout myself, but after running into this multiple times, I have been forced to switch back to ABF until this gets worked out.
Well thanks for the quick reply. As you suggested changeing hte layout fixed the problem or at least part of it. For some reasson my buttons are still staying highlighted in a green borders... but thats another thread :)

:( I will fiddle with it some more... I have auras defined the same as for ABF (except for bumping them up higher on the top) and anything I don't have set up in the layout code falls to the way ABF has it set up.....
What I would like to see it do is to fade the unit frame when the health and mana are full. Combat fader is cool, but waiting to fade when full is even better =P
Is it possible to separate portrait frame from the unit frame?
I would like to use CLIQUE addon and make sure I can right click the portrait for using the standard Blizzard options, and if I click on the unit frame, it uses the clique functions (heals etc). With Perl Classic, I could do that.
Actually, the portrait and the unit informations are gathered into one unique frame...
It would be great if you could implement such thing.

Text Variables :
Here we go in depths.
sRaidFrames let u see some extra things in a text form showen on mana bar. (In case of pitbull I bet it just a case where special variable is placed).
So, how it works in sRF.
Special Text Appears on the Mana Bar. So far it seems to be configured for : Last Stand, Shadowform, Shieldwall, Fearward.
So, basicly when you list priests : those who are in shadow form are having a text "Shadowform" on their mana bar.
When Warrior is using his Shield Wall - Text appears on his rage bar and so on.
Do you think there is something in http://wowace.com/wiki/DogTag-1.0 ?
It was one of the reasons I`ve used sRF over other raid uiz. So imo its very valuable feature.
03. Reread more carefull, you didnt got the idea it seems. Rage and Energy I mentioned, should be separated from Mana. As soon as Rage / Energy are pointless to be tracked through the raid, and I bet even in group. Mana is the feature to be monitored.
Is it possible to create a custom unit frame that shows the target of a certain target (a groupmate I always PvP with, for instance). It'd be useful in certain situations to have a window which shows the target of the main assist. I'm aware of the party targets, but it would be more useful to have another target window separate from this.
Have you tried "Focus" with "Focus Target" ?
Try /focus, mate, it does wonders to PvP with your friend.

Try using UnitActionBars with uab_Pitbull, it more-or-less does the same things (and it's ace2!)
Is there no way to get combat text in the ABF layout to appear elsewhere than the portrait? I'd prefer to be able to move it to just centered across the frame. Kind of stinks especially if you have a frame with the portrait disabled.
can someone please explain how to make the target frame show exact player mobhealth3 data. it works fine for enemy npcs, but for friendly player targets it just shows the percentage (unless they are in my party) i have tried numerous custom dog-tags but with no success. if someone would give an idea of some settings that i might have overlooked or the dog-tag that they use, i would be greatly appreciative.

The Way MobHealth3 Works is it compares how much damage you(and everything else) does to a target to it's percent.. Example: Say you do 50 damage to a guy and he goes from 100 to 99% that would mean he has around 5000 health. Since you aren't attacking friendly players/npcs it has no idea how much health they have.

yeah. i understand this, but i assumed that if you had them targeted that it would estimate their health from the combat they had with other mobs/players,or maybe not even targeted. if you were close enough it would pick up the damage they recieved and use that data. in fact im sure of it unless my memory is significantly failing me.

Had same issue with Seerah layout, usually yu get weird issues by switching layouts just do /reloadui and should be fine -.-
