i know ive asked before and im asking again is there any fix for the icon display ? i love some colored borders liek they was instead of the baaa icons we have know
Hi^^ i really like Pitbull using it for 2 weeks now...but after i updated to the newest ver. i have a problem:
by default when u right-click the target the pitbull frame shows, how do i disable this function? so i can see the old blizz right-click frame like inspect target or whisper/invite..etc.
thank you!
bump for this. Also when using "Clique" addon, I would like to able to disable the clique function on the portrait frame for automatic casts (like I can do on perl unit frames), so that I can right click it to get the character's options (inspect, add target signs, whisp etc).
Is it possible to display [creature] for only NPCs, and display nothing for players? I looked through the DogTag wiki and I can't seem to find the function. [smartrace], [playerclass], and [smartclass] are not providing the functionality I'm looking for. I looked through the old PitBull topic and saw this same question asked, but the answer given was to use [playerclass], which doesn't do what I'm looking for. Seems as though an if-statement would work, but there doesn't seem to be an '~isplayer' modifier of any variation. Hopefully this is a legitimate issue, and not me missing something stupid. Any help would be appreciated.
I've been using PitBull for a week or so now, and I have to say it's a major improvement over agUF. Awesome work so far!
I haven't had a chance to really play around with the layout code, so ignore the following requests if they're already in.
1) Fully customizable buff/debuff locations. The current options work well enough, but pixel precision without creating a new layout would be great.
2) Vertical health/mana bars. Wouldn't even need a new layout using them, just the functionality and know-how.
3) Alpha by frame element. For example, laying a semitransparent castbar over the manabar for vertical real-estate.
4) Some new spark options for visibility, maybe?
Still having weird problems with the auto unpacked folders install.

i have some problems with the seerah-layout. The buffs & debuffs are not displayed correctly. Sometimes theres no debuff/buff visible on the target....
Mine's bugging out too, sometimes I get buff icons stuck over where the target's debuffs are.... I'll have a look at it, if I can't figure it out, I'll ask for help. ;)
edit: I probably won't get to it until later tonight, though.
I recently switched from ag_Unitframes to Pitbull, but i really miss the ability to have one big raid group sorted by class. I can sort by class with Pitbull now, but it makes a new frame for every class, and i need to keep positioning them every time someone joins or leaves the raid.
Is there any way to accomplish what i am trying to do, or if not, can it be implemented?
party target, target of target and focus target buffs are not updated correclty.
For example If I target myself and focus myself and change one of my buff it's correctly updated on my focus and target, but not on my target of target nor my focus target I have to deselect and reselect myself to correctly update my buffs on my target of target and focus target.
Same thing if for example during a fight I target one member of my party and he switch his target from one enemy to another enemy then the second target will keep the first target buffs&debuffs
concerning the portrait in Combat it happen for example that the mob that has been sheeped still keep his sheep portrait after being desheeped.
Now that I have some time, am giving PitBull a try. Looks very promising. Gave ag_UnitFrames a try a long time ago, but was very unsatisfied with its tacked-on handling (after requests) of party pets. So moved on to X-Perl Unit Frames (non-Ace) and have been using that ever since.
Anyway, as of the morning of May 2 with full updated standalone libraries, PitBull r34248 (with PitBull_BarFader, PitBull_EstimatedHeals,PitBull_RangeCheck updated here morning of May 2) along with PitBull_CombatFader r34114, a single major problem. With either a hunter/warlock pet frame for your character (not in a party) or the target of target frame (only when the target of target is you and the target is a party member), the two frames "blink" distractingly rapidly when out of combat. When PitBull_CombatFader is disabled in options for those two frames, the blinking stops. Did not experience the inappropriate blinking with either the player, party or target frames (only other ones tested).
For example, summon your pet when not in a party. Don't go into combat (i.e. you are in a city). Very soon after summoning, the pet frame will "blink" between 25% (or whatever you have it set to) outAlpha and 100% (or whatever you have it set to) inAlpha very rapidly. Sometimes the blinking stops when moving around, but most of the time it happens. This also occurs if you log on with the pet already summoned.
Identical thing happens when you (as a non-hunter/warlock character) are in a party, you have a (non-hunter/warlock) party member targeted and they have you targeted. Again, out of combat (was in a city). Your frame--as target of target--blinks distractingly rapidly between the full & in-combat alpha values.
Had to disable PitBull_CombatFader completely because of this inappropriate blinking.
All other parts of PitBull work without a problem so far. Plan on updating PitBull to this morning's revisions and continue on; hopefully this PitBull_CombatFader issue can be looked at.
Please bare in mind that PitBull_CombatFader was not part of the default component in PitBull package.
First off I wanted to say great mod and thanks for all the work everyone. I used DUF for more than a year and havent changed my layout in about so much time. I'll probably write my own layout with salvaged parts form the others. Looking over the layouts that are provided I had a few questions.
Is there a good reference that I should read/follow to get familiar with the layout/db file structure?
In Sheerah's layout there is no mention of portrait in the lua, yet when I switch to that layout there is a portrait. Where does it get the info if it is not in Sheerah.lua?
Lastly, If I wanted to call the portrait frame twice, like one for the 2D and one for the icon (no I just dont' like looking at myself). would I add another section to the lua like:
function ABF.secondportrait(unit, frame)
...
Once more people start using pitbull it may be nice to start a custom layout thread.
love the changes to pitbull... one thing i'm having issues with though is buff/debuff overlapping.
For example: There is no way to recreate the way the default blizzard target layout. That is to say with rows of buffs from left to right, followed by rows debuffs from left to right.
The only way I can get it close to this is to split the buffs/debuffs then put them both on the same anchor with left to right direction, but doing this overlaps the buffs and debuffs on top of each other.
Is there any way to anchor them so they don't over lap but go left to right? (leaving it unsplit causes debuffs to show up right to left with no way to change it).
for buff and debuffs
*sigh*
Thanks

Feature I would like to see:
Layout for Buffs/Debuffs (rows, columns), or max Buffs shown per row option?
THX! Keep it on! ^^
I went thru the aura.lua but nothing stood out.
mainly because i am a noob :P
my shadow weave debuff and the white counter # is very very hard to see. Even if i make the icon larger :(
Have you run the .bat script? I think that will be the problem - delete Pitbull folders and download/unpack again without WAU. It will work...

go get the latest version, there is one for me atm. shows up under the target portrait as little yellow dots.
