Hi I got a problem with the range check...I tested about 2 hours with 2 accounts and it seems that the range check isn't working for group and raid if you are playing a mage class. Even with no addons activated and a clear wtf folder it isn't working. need some help plz.
Weird thing, I reverted back to a version from yesterday when it was still working, but the error didnt go away. Deleted my saved variables as well to no avail. I love pitbull, but this is bad.
ABF is not really an option since I play a druid and when shifted, either the power or the mana bar is way too small. oUF did this nicely by replacing the cast bar with the druids mana bar but this doesnt seem to be possible with ABF.
Alright. the bugs with texts and all that should be gone.
Note: only the ABF layout is guaranteed to work now, the other layouts are being phased out to create one big meta-layout system.
please please have a layout that separates the name text and class text from the same bar as health text. it's the only reason i came back to Pitbull.
I think you problem is, that the name-text on the left side moves sometimes (if it is very long) into the health-text, which is on the right side, yes?
Switch the Position of the name text by yourself.
FrameName->Nametext->Position->frame-> choose one ;)

Updated to r40222.1001. No more error messages, but still, no Texts.
Same on my screen. Then I reloded the UI 2 times and - uh? a mirage? - I see the Texts... *cheer*
At the moment everything seems to work fine... although i don't know why the texts pop up ...
Uhm... is there someone else who gets an error when he is going to change the Rep-Bar-Color?
Something to do with Atlasloot but reinstalling (deleted -> install) doesn't work ...
Just to see if I can find a fix for this... I'm using revision 40222.1002, and DogTag 40182, and I get this lovely error:
[2007/06/16 14:39:17-515-x4]: DogTag-1.0.40182: Error with code " [Status:SureHP:PercentHP:Percent]" on "player". [string "local DogTag = AceLibrary("DogTag-1.0");loc..."]:1: attempt to get length of global 'tmp' (a nil value):

DogTag-1.0-40182 (DogTag-1.0):4283: in function <...nterface\AddOns\DogTag-1.0\DogTag-1.0\DogTag-1.0.lua:4276>
Now, I started getting this error sometime this morning after the major change to pitbull. At first, I just thought I needed to redo my layout (which needed to be done anyway), so I renamed my pitbull.lua in the wtf folder.
Loaded up a noob on a different server with minimal addons to start the layout, and all hell started breaking loose. Just by dragging the player frame around, I generated about 46 of these errors (hurray for bugsack).
Also, while this is very minor, it seems the ability to move several of the icons (master looter, raid target, pvp, etc) is permanently locked on the player frame unless they are actually visible. As in, I tried relocating the pvp icon, but the option for 'position' was greyed out until I flagged myself for pvp. I noticed the same with the other frames, but to a lesser extent, since the majority of the icons come on by default. I understand this feature is brand new as of this morning, so I'm by no means upset that it's not quite perfected yet :)
Edit:
I had the idea that maybe not having mobhealth3 turned on was causing this... but that's not it. Also, here's a sample of one of others that popped up.

It seems that while this is cranking out errors like a machinegun, there's only nine unique errors. I'll try a fresh install of pitbull and dogtag to see if that fixes it.
First of all thanks for great mod. For some reason I have problems with FPS when playing in raid. I noticed problem first time two days ago, when I installed the mod. When playing out of raid, addon works like charm. When in raid and combat is on it seems to freeze. I tried without portraits as well, didn't help at all. Next raid I will try to run Pitbull only in raid without any other addons, cause only logical explanation would be that it's creating low FPS having problems with some other addon.
I ran Perl before Pitbull and changing now back to perl will give me perfect fps when raids, so atleast to some extent it has to do with Pitbull (tried switching on off on off) and on in raids = :(.
I add screenshots of mods I'm running and addons I have when I play, hoping that it helps and will report later how game runs with pitbull only.
I'll read whole thread now trying to find any similarities and workarounds for my problem, if problem has some workaround already, thanks for that. I hope this problem gets solved asap. I know I'm part of the minority having this problem, but I hope there's possibility to fix fps issue :)
- removing texts via the right click menu removes them from the list preventing them from being re-enabled.
- experience bar color picker still broken (setting to 0,0,0 gives default blue and modifies from there)
Does this mean we'll be able to re-create some layouts?
Buu for self and oUF for party is the reason I came to PitBull to begin with :/
These can be recreated using options, e.g. Buu = Portrait Side -> Center, Position at the top, stick some texts in various positions, and bam, there you go.

Thats the error i seem to be getting is it only becasue of ABF frames... Maybe have to change all frames to ABF even the ones that arent showing?

ok at the moment I don't use the Rep-Bar, but if i wanted to .... :)
Line 618 of ABF.lua should be:

None of the rest even have the option for Health/Power bar texts now.

Yeah, just happened today or yesterday. I invited someone while in combat, error wow crash.
