I recently updated to the newest version of Pitbull from and began experiencing problems/difficulties when it comes to buffs/debuffs. Below are two examples of the target unitframe and it does not matter which layout I use.
I don't really know what happened since I have not changed anything when I updated pitbull nor have I made any changes after I installed the newest version.
Any help would be appreciated :)
I am having the same issue after upgrading to version 34712 today. It is only happening to my target and/or target-of-target frames, and only after I enter combat.
It appears that some of the buffs and debuffs on myself or my target are being drawn inside the unit frames/subframes, and stretched to fit. Some red, green, blue, and gray borders (perhaps of the buffs/debuffs?) are also being drawn this way. Here are some examples.
This behavior occurs even if I disable all mods except PitBull and the Ace libraries (I have my Ace mods installed without externals), so I don't think it's a conflict with another mod.
Hello,
Just started to test this mod out. One thing I noticed is that you don't have an option to
place the buffs inside the frames like in aguf. The configuration seems easier and some of the additional modules are interesting estimating heals and the interacting lines. Overall great work.

PS. Also is there a way to anchor pets to their masters?
One problem I'm having is being able to adjust the height of the health/mana/cast bars individually from their respective menus. I can adjust the overall height/width in the size/scale menu, but this makes the health/mana/cast bars have to be the same size. I'd also like to be able to change the font size (and type if possible) for each element of the frame.

trust me - these options ARE there, i pk with em all the time.
--and thx ck - i found the mouseover UF. its a grate help in pvp to ID someone on the other side of the zone and what's going on.
btw - is there an option / plans for adding the idea of fading out UF on account of distance?
Should we able to use "/focus" on NPCs? Last night, while doing the Escape from Durnholde quest, where you escort Thrall and need to keep him alive, I thought it would be helpful to keep his health bar in the focus frame, so I tried "/focus Thrall", but it crashed.
Today in Thunder Bluff, I tried it on a random NPC "/target karn", and received a similar crash:

It's always blank, even when targetting myself.
speak, install MobHealth 3
I have MobHealth3 installed and working, but it doesn't do anything with Player Classes. (i dont want it to "remember" player health, just calculate on the fly).
When targetting myself, or a party/raid member, the health is known, and should be displayed, according to SureHP's description.
Or, how can i hide the "100/100" from FractionalHP on non-party members, and have it only show %?
edit: nvm, i think i need a whole separate thread for my config lol.
Found this inconspicuous bug on my mage alt. It has to do with the Player's Cast bar:
Target a mob and begin casting a fireball. On the Player's Cast bar, it'll show Fireball correctly and show the graphic that it is being cast. Now cancel the spell. Cast another fireball and notice it'll say fireball, but now it'll show the name of the mob in the Cast bar too.
It seems to only do this when you cast a spell, cancel, and cast another spell. It didnt seem to matter if it was the same spell or a different one.

Gotcha. Works great now. I guess I was confused because when I first was testing out "/focus", I tried "/focus [playername]", with [playername] being my own character name, and it that situation the explicit name worked fine. A subsequent "/focus" would clear it, so I figured the format was "/focus [target-name]".
Is the proper usage and syntax of "/focus" documented anywhere? I'm guessing others have made the same incorrect assumption I did when first trying it out.
Frame update problem. The past few nights while using Pitbull in a 25 man raid I've had problems with the frames getting out of sync. It usually happens out of combat when the raid leader changes someone's group position in the raid. What happens is the class colors for the person are correct and when I click on the person, they are targeted properly but thier name is incorrect. It's someone else's name in the raid. Resorting the raid grouping layout seems to fix it but it will happen again in a few mins.
Sorry for the bad description but I've been trying to get more data on it the last few raids but it's getting pretty frustrating.
Any ideas?
Yeah, raid frames are still unusable. I've been using PerfectRaid instead, but checked Pitbull's again last night and was disappointed.
Good, glad it's not just me. So what can we do to gather more info on these types of problems? Raid frames are the last thing keeping me on other frame addons before switching to Pitbull full time.
Pitbull is still unusable in a raid as of build 34737. Any work being done on this?
err the only problem i had with raids and out of sync was during the problem with the potrait addon problem ( old version instead of the new )
and well since the introduction of flat group under grouping , i never had any problem, Except the aura setting ( you can choose any direction and it always sticks on the same position.
If i change to another pc using the normal grouping raid by groups ( diferent screens so its a diferent setting ) i also dont have any problem with out of syncs ( using pitbull and Ora2 btw ) just the aura problem unfortunately ( well since i cant put them inside the frame or just seeing 4 buffs in the right side i actually disabled it :P )
it would be nice if we could set auras independently of the group ( like from group 1 to 3 = appear at the right side , group 4-5 appear at the left side )
Rest is working nicely ( if you do a clean install ofc - if you use bugsack once in a while on a few revisions you need to go to the options and recheck your options )
example bugsack jumping to 300 errors because on older revisions i had the option to hide mana bars from raid , on the last revision with the introduction of hide mana and hide "fake mana" bugsack would give lots of errors
Lots of options are not shown when the particular frame isn't displayed.
Not a bug. Use the configuration modes if you need to change the options for a frame that does not currently exist (ie, adjust the focus target frame options if your focus does not have a target).
Yes, this is a bug.
The Target module is enabled. If I don't currently have a Target though, lots of options are missing when i go to pitbull > target options via the pitbull icon.
If this was not bugged, then I would get no options at all.
So either it's bugged since I get only some options, or it's bugged since i do get some options and not none.
Either way it's bugged. Show all or none, not partial.

Is there any type of information or instrumentation we can temporarily use to diagnose the raid problems? What can we do to help?
