Using r33889 now, embedded libraries, and deleted my old pitbull.lua again just to be safe, I'm not crashing or having any bugs pop up when exiting BGs so far.
Thanks for revision 33889, Square Grouping should help my UI. Freeform editing would be great if it came back, but Sqaure is a great addition. How about bigger vertical and horizontal spacing? 300 is somewhat small. If I could stretch it from one side of the screen to the other that would be great.
Hopefully someone can answer some of these questions...
#1 - Portrait -- can anyone tell me on target of target why sometimes the port is the full scale (standing model) vs just the face -- this seems to be almost random unless there is a method to this im not picking up on.
#2 - I'm a long time user of Discord Frame Modifier to align my UI what I cant quite figure out is what is the name for the Party Frame -- I dont seem to have any issues with the player frames (PitBullUnitFrame1) and target/targettarget (PitBullUnitFrame3,4) however the full player frame at one time was somthing along the lines of PitBullFrame4 and then it looks like to changed to somthing with "Cluster" in it -- sorry I dont have specifics for this as I am @ work.
Any info would be greatly appreciated on this -- If there are frame names for full party do they also exist for raid?
#3 Perhaps this is a side effect of using somthing like Discord Frame Modifier/Visor/etc -- when I enter raid sometimes my party frames will go nutty and appear to be stretched -- doing a UL reload seems to fix this.
#4 *** I love the addon so much more than AG but it really troubles me to see daily builds change so much -- is there any plan in the near future to lock the changes down and bugfix the unitframes so they are rock solid?

As for you're #1, I get that as well, but with my focus frame instead of my target frame. Then the portrait doesn't update if my target gets sheeped or something.
#2- I think it was said somewhere here recently that frames get recycled or something... Did you try /print GetMouseFocus():GetName() for raid frames? The other day, my Player frame was PitBullUnitFrame1, and the party was a cluster.
#4- Daily builds are changing because this addon is still in beta and still being developed with tweaks, optimizations, removal/reworking/additions of features, etc. If you want a stable/constant unit frame addon, you might as well go back to ag_UF for the time being. With as great as PitBull is after only being started a few weeks ago, it's not finished yet.

I've noticed this too, I think it's a bug. Sometimes the portrait is blank as well, when it should at least have the floating yellow question mark. I think this odd behavior started in the last week or so.
Edit: I'm pretty sure I've noticed it with most if not all of my frames (except raid, as I disable portraits on those for performance).

Since Pitbull allows you to position and scale its frames, there might be conflicts if you're trying to have another addon fight with it over those settings.

The addon is still young, and many new ideas are still being incorporated as a result of community feedback and contributions. To be honest, active development really attracts me to an addon because I know that the author is very invested in it and is likely to listen to feedback and bug reports and more rapidly improve the addon based on them.
if possible i would like to have an option to have the focus target disappear when dead.
A side question to this request, many revisions ago, while I was running Maraudon, I had a Hunter's Gorilla pet as the focus. When he died, lost him as the focus and had to manually re-enter him as /focus. I do not think this had anything to do with PitBull, but perhaps Blizzard. Anyone with ideas why?
I do second the above idea, but I think I need to focus the intent of it, at least for my reasons. Perhaps a "Hide focus when dead" option?
well i just got combat fader and set the focus target to fade when out of combat.
as for an explanation: i use the focus target on my vampiric healing target and i was sick of the focus target staying on my screen after they are dead. i have a macro that when i cast vampiric healing on them they also become the focus target.
it would still be nice to have the option to have them deselected (if possible) when they die.

Well I am rather confident what he means by recycled is when you install the mod and for example turn off Player Pet which by default is PitBullUnitFrame2 (Player Pet) -- everything else gets shifted up IE: By default Target is PitBullUnitFrame3 but if you turn off Player Pet Target now becomes PitBullUnitFrame2.
Mabey I am wrong but this is the behaviour I see with the mod -- now with that said I was just curious if anyone know the party frame default name with nothing disabled/turned off...

Since Pitbull allows you to position and scale its frames, there might be conflicts if you're trying to have another addon fight with it over those settings.
Yes you can position your unitframes without using a DFM/Visor type mod I am just a bit picky I suppose (I know im not the only one here anal about things looking aligned).
Perhaps it would be a good suggestion that and I hope not too much work to add an option to Pitbull to position your frames by specified coordinates aka. Nurfed does this.
There is one good feature I want to request is the Flashing at low HP. It will catch player eye telling them your HP is low. The flash glow will be around your unitframe outer border not the bars. Same with the target frame.
What I want to see is the classic low HP alert from Blizzard Unitframe which will glow at 20% HP.

That's been happening here for a good few days or more too.
A few questions (sorry if noobish, I have no programming background!). Mostly directed to Seerah but probably anyone can help.
I'm using Seerah's layout (which is lovely) with a few modifications. I basically like having a low height, wide width unitframe (reminicent of Roarthindon), but with the name outside the bars like Aly's layout from auf_layouts so the name doesn't get cut off!
I decreased the height, and increased the width, and disabled the portrait. I fiddled with your lua Seerah, and I decreased the mana bar height, and increased the cast bar height. My font size is set at 12, but now, my bar text information is overlapping into each other as well into other bars. I need a way to use different font sizes for the name, health text, mana text, castbar text. Anyone have any instructions on how to do this?
How do I make adjustments to the placement and size of combo points?

For those of you with questions about fonts... All text areas are tied together with a global font setting (you can get to it through the global settings menu, Benea). I do not believe you can currently set the name as larger than your experience info atm, though it would be nice.
@Benea: I'm still fiddling with that layout, myself... It'll be on the svn as soon as I have access or here in the next day or so if I don't.
