Here is my problem: I would like my frame to show up my group number when I'm in a raid.
By modifying the player-->name text '[raidgroup][name]' and setting it correctly to use the custom text, it will work only when the frame is refreshed ( which means when you reload your interface, when you hide and then show the frame again or when you simply hit 'enter' after modifying the name text ).
This job won't be done automatically which means when you join a raid, when you leave it or when your group is changed the frame won't refresh itself saying you're still on the old group ( or not in a raid at all, or showing you in a group after you've left the raid... ).
What happened to the layout called "PerfectRaid"? i just got used to it and after updating AGUF today with the WAU my raid frames got the defualt theme and the Perfectraid layout is not in the list anymore and the file is also gone from the layout dir.
Did some research and found out that ag_UnitFrames-r22688 was the last version with perfectraid and yaABF layout. Simply copy PerfectRaid.lua and yaABF.lua from 22688 into your ag_unitframes\layout\ dir with the lastest version (23122 atm) and both work again.
I just updated to changelog-r23122.txt with the AceUpdater program. Anyhow, I just wanted to let you know that the clickable areas of the party frames are messed up at the moment. For instance - I am using the ABF layout. I tried a few others and they all seem to have the issue.
On all frames other than party (self/target/focus/targetoftarget) the entire frame with the exception of the portrait is "clickable." On the party frames, only a small silver towards the bottom is clickable, the health/mana bars area is unclickable (it just clicks through to the world).
I really love aguf, and am so grateful for all of the work the authors have put in it. It has really enhanced my enjoyment of WOW.
One question: in the latest published release of aguf (r20943), the weakened soul debuf is no longer appearing for party/players. This is the debuf that occurs when a priest shields a party member (or self) which prevents recasting of shield until this debuf has worn off.
This debuf was shown on the perviously published aguf (the one put out when the 2.0 patch was released).
Any chance of getting this put back in? It's kind of important for managing shields on squishy types in your group. If you attempt to reshield someone who still has weakened soul, it fails and you end up wasting time where you could have done something else (like flash heal, renew, etc).
Thanks again for the great mod. I really appreciate it!
I just wanted to add that I checked the other themes and it seems to be a global issue with the party frames being unclickable. For instance, Roartindon is completely unselectable on both mine and my girlfriends computers. All themes seem to have the problem to varying degrees though.
My aguf has suddenly broken while playing. I can't click on any raid frame and the default party frames have reappered, can't seem to hide them. Was working ok earlier. Is Blizz making changes while I'm playing? Cheeky buggers.
In the latest SVN version here (r23049) the target name is no longer abbreviated with "..." at the end of the name. Instead, no matter how long the name is, it appears on the target frame (using the ABF frame style).
Not good. If you are using a health layout such as [curhp]/[maxhp] (for use with MobHealth3, etc.) or something even larger, a large percentage of NPC names are going to overlap the health text. Unless you turn off portraits, or similar.
Enlarging the frame scale and/or width to make room for longer names makes the frame too large in many cases. This needs options to either adjust the scale of name text only (or other text components of the frame, if possible) or to put back the abbreviated names. Can see nothing on the wiki page about either.
Same problem here, and this wasnt fixed in 23129. Any chance i could fix it by myself by editing "ABF.lua"?
I started having problems after updating to r23122 a few hours ago. I just ran the Ace updater again and grabbed r23129 which I would guess is the fixed version with regards the unclickable raid frames.
