i'm not trying to group by class.. i know how to do that. you filter by class under "group filter"
what i'd like to do is have ag_unitframes actually *sort* my list.. alphabetically, by class, by group, etc. have you ever used perfectraid? that's a good example of this.
right now i have 8 individual frames for a 40man raid, however what if i'm in a 20man? 10man? 25man in bc? it looks a little awkward. my proposal is to have a single group (1 actual movable group) that is sorted however i like (by group, by class, alphabetically) so no matter how many people are in my raid i can move that single raid around and it won't be in an awkward spot. the other benefit is it will be easily re-sortable at any time.
i like ag_unitframes a lot more than perfectraid as far as the interface goes, but the sorting thing really needs to exist :\
ag_unitframes will be able to sort by class, subgroup, alphabetically and so on. I kinda forgot to add that function when I rewrote the grouping system for 2.0. It's very very simple to add.
Will I be able to group the entire raid by class? What I mean is, you have one group that includes the entire raid. The classes are grouped together and grow as more or less members of that class join, but they are all in one line, top to bottom. As one member of a class joins, they are smushed into that line where they belong.

thankyou so much, that's exactly what i wanted :)
is it possible to do a stackable sort order? for example, "sort by class, then alphabetically" or "sort by group then class" - this would come in handy, but is less important than just getting the sort feature in there.

that's how it worked before 2.0 ;)
big thx andreas, that you'll add it. then again its the best raidframe i've ever seen for me :)
Anyone that can help me to fix this, reinstalled the ag_unitframes a few times now. But this bug keep coming up, it's very annoying since I can't click 'ok' and get rid of the warning message :(
If there is no fix to it, is there any way to turn off the warning message?
I just updated ag_uf to the newest version, and it no longer displays the gold combo points. I was using a version released shortly after 2.0. Is there anyway to get the combo points to display again? I would rather not switch back to the older version, because it has a bug where the party frame will not go away while in a raid.
My character is a druid if that would make any difference.
I love aguf but this particular behaviour has been bugging me a lot. If I set the health and mana status text to something custom like:
[curhp]/[maxhp] ([percenthp]%)
it shortens it to something like
1234/1234 (1...
even though there is enough room on the bar. I'm sure it's something to do with the anchoring of text set in the layout but I can't find it. Any ideas?
Is there currently a mod, a function in ag_unitframes or something that will let me create custom groups by player name?
For example, I play with the same 3 people every day. When we BG together, we're scattered throughout the raid and sometimes the BGleader isn't willing to move us to the same group and it's difficult to monitor their health.
We are always in a group when we're online. When you go to a BG, you're group identity is changed to that of the battlegroup, but the group still exists (we can communicate on /p). Is there a way to have that show all the time despite where you are in a battlegroup?
You can have a raid of 3 people, hehe.
So yes it would work if you set it up as a raid, and set others as ptargets, which I'm pretty sure ora2 remembers between sessions and such.
