I'm using AGuf for both party and raid frames, but the party frames will not hide when I join a raid, despite the option being checked. I get the raid frames underneath my party frames and have to manually hide them to correct it.
i've got a little problem. I can't see the pet Frame of any Party Member. In the Config Menu it's shown as visible. Original Blizzard Frames shows the party pet. Is it a bug? Got the latest Version from WOW Ace updater..
From what i saw these days, bugsak pops up logs from tons of "blocked" actions from itemrack and warmup during combat. Maybe that has something to do with the lag i guess.
i dont use AGUF but i am also experiencing huuuuge drops in FPS in the bigger raid instances.
by huge i mean normally (before 2.0) i was getting 50-70FPS in every raid area, in combat or not. now i'm at 9 FPS. NINE. i have so many mods that it's gonna be very hard to narrow down which one is responsible :( considering i can only troubleshoot it while in naxx (where the performance hit is most noticeable) it's gonna take a long time >.>
here's a list of mods i have enabled:
bongos
bagnon
easyraid
bigwigs+modules
fubar
clique
RABuffs
sRaidFrames
mobhealth (3, ace2 version)
witchhunt2
antagonist
mik's scrolling battle text
visor2
perl_classic unitframes
ctraidassist
warmup
bugsack/grabber
and a ton of other stuff that doesnt really apply to any unitframes or raid stuff or clicking.
obviously, i dont run more than one raid frames at a time :p i just included them in the list to indicate that i've tried them out and all give the same performance hits.
i've also tried disabling antagonist/wh2/msbt to no avail.
i'm really hoping a mod is to blame because at 9fps i'm basically useless >.> if it's a mod, at least there's hope of finding it and removing/fixing it!
Im not so sure that these FPS-Drops are caused by addons. If you check the official forums (no matter if it´s us,en,de or whatever), there are a lot of people suffering from fps-drops since the patch, only while being in combat and usually in the bigger raid instances. Many of these people tried with a vanilla WoW and still had these problems.
Blizzard offered 2 fixes...one recreating the Cache-Folder since they somehow forgot it, one limiting the number of software-/hardwaresoundchannels. If you run the launcher instead of starting WoW directly it will apply both fixes.
This did somehow work for me...instead of 0-1 fps in bwl during combat i got somewhat playable fps...still less than it used to be.
Those fps-drops happen to such a number of users that i doubt all of them have 1 specific addon or 1 specific piece of hardware installed that causes it.

Welll I've been using the Launcher since patch, I'll let you guys know if the lag cleared up after a raid. I never had these issues post patch.
I've been in a 40 man AV runs a lot lately, and experienced 0 lag. But doing MC on a alt run last night, lag like crazy.

thanks for the suggestion - i never run the launcher :)
To resolve the dropped framerates issue, all you have to do is run the Launcher. If you choose not to run the Launcher, feel free to manually make the changes by following the steps below.

If you are experiencing low framerates with the latest patch, please try modifying your Config.wtf file in your WTF folder (default location: C:\program files\World of Warcraft\WTF).
To modify your Config.wtf file:
1. Right click on the Config.wtf file
2. Select "Open With"
3. Select "Wordpad"
4. Add or Modify the following lines -
SET soundmaxhardwarechannels "12"
SET soundsoftwarechannels "12"
5. Once those lines have been added/modified, click on "File" in the top left hand corder and select "Save".
is sorting raid frames by group & class still broken? i can't seem to find it anywhere.
i'd love to have one big group with everyone in it, but sorted by group or class (depending on situation). i already have the group but it's not sorted in any way.
I'm having an issue with any of my frames when I use custom "[curhp]/[maxhp] [agsmarthp]". The issue is that when someone is missing HP the text is too long so it shows up as "-..." so for example "Rykier 4950/5000 -50" displays as "Rykier 4950/5000 -...".
So far extending the frame or scale doesn't fix the issue.
Maybe I'm missiing something? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Are you using the latest ag_unitframes?
About a week ago or so ag fixed them to remove delay in 3D portrait updates, since then they've updated for me as well as any other unit frame I've tried out that had 3D portraits.
I fixed this by extending the width of whatever unit frame you are working with. You may have to extend it farther than you think. Scale won't do it, you have to adjust the width ONLY.
ah, you're right. they are much quicker now. that's great :)
the other issues still exist though:
* when you have someone in your party/raid who you haven't physically seen yet.. it just shows a question mark..
* portraits aren't clickable while the rest of the frame is.
Sorting by Group is in there.... You just have to enable to show the RAID Frame and be in a RAID to configure the layout. I think the group by class you have to create though.
/aguf config
+ Unitframes
+RAID
+Show Raid Frame
Also if you lock the UF once you have it in position, the UF will change from a gray backgroud to a solid black background.

Any one else having this issue?
Thanks.

Thanks anyway Leif
EDIT :: Also, here is the issues list (I presume this to be the complete known list). Missing party pets is near the top.
