I was wondering if it would be possible to setup a module that displays healing and damage taken on the frames in a similar way that MG2 uses.
So when someone gets healed it would say +1234 in green and -2345 in red for damage.
I'd do it myself, but I have no clue how and where to start :P
This is a development forum, these mods are in beta, some not even that far. If you can't figure out how to set up a proper SVN client (be it via googling for help, or reading the documentation that comes with your client of choice) then wait for a proper, tested, and released version on WoWInterface.
Eheh .. a bit rude but fine.
It's true.
If you want use alpha/beta mods (and therefore help to test them that is really appreciated by the community), you need to put some effort in.

It appears that party member pets aren't hiding when in a raid. Is this intended behaviour? Is there an option to change this behaviour? It seems like party pets should have the same visibility as party members, and I have those set to hide when in a raid.
Pointed Tortoise to the branch, updated and put into add-ons folder and ... nothing they simple won't show up in add ons list and never ever they load.
Ace2 is still in Alpha and such is getting some tweaks, changes, corrections etc here and there.
Due to this mods that use Ace2 may have issues retrieveing the proper externals, because of name changes or the like. Just something we have to deal with for mods this early in develpment :)
This was a one-time change necessary, the externals just need to be updated. Hopefully someone gets to it (if they already haven't) but i'll look tonight if i can.

Any ideas ? Trouble with externals maybe ?
When you check it out straight from the branch (the Otravi folder directly, I believe) you will get a folder with a bunch of subfolders in it - oUF, oUF_Party, etc. etc. THESE are the folders that need to be put in your Addons folder directly. No subfolders, no anything. Just a bunch of individual folders...

Np for the form I have to put them in, I'll do.
Planning to test them tonight under heavy raid environment.
Ok, been trying to test this bad boy.. looks good, love the option window as well.
Couple bugs I have seen just to let ya know..
The Party settings haven't been applying when you set, it saves the settings, but just doesn't apply them to the frame.
Also the numbers for the sliders are uneven, for party and and player, and some others, not sure if thats an error, or how that works, but you can't match them up to be the same. not sure /shrug. =)
Other than those, haven't seen anything else, that you haven't already done as this is beta after all =p
Just curious though, if this is gonna use a MobInfo2 or maybe a MobHealth, or if it already does for it's target frames?
Also, just a suggestion, was curious if you hadn't thought about for display options if we couldn't have a (%p %c/%max), something like that where a percent might be able to be added overtop the bars, just an idea though =)
kudos on all the work though of course, looks good.
I like this UnitFrames.
I am using minigroup2 and I like that you can choose between different themes.
I have taken a bit of your code to try some similar to that.
If you are interessted, you can have a look at it.
It is only a quick test therefore, no nice code ;-) .

Just put your frames in to test but I started WoW up and they didnt appear, any suggestions?
Edit: Just got this error
Interface\Addons\Kbunitframes\AceOO\AceOO-2.0.lua:761: attempt to index field 'super' (a nil value)
mmh, if i am not using an very outdated version, you only can change the texture and the size and such things.
This is only a suggestion if you are interessted in making the layout a bit more flexible.

Maybe putting up a working version in \trunk ?
Then we can keep an eye on the log to make some corrections on the fly while Ace2 and otravi_UnitFrames are under heavy development.

Thx a lot. I'll try it.

this mod is only a demo, you get two playerframes every with an other theme.
It does have different bar trextures.
More themes are nice. But blueberry waffles would be better IMO :)
If you target someone who has a target and switch to a person that doesn't have a target, the target-of-target frame remains.
will post proper report when i log on to wow

I took the time to fix the party pets not hiding while in raid issue, I think - someone test it.
