Codayus: have you tried binding an AceHeal action to 'Menu' for whatever you want it to be? It should work with oUF2 (or any other unt-frame for that matter.)
Andaer: If I recall, oUF colors the border of your player frame based on if your resting / in combat.
Freedon: Ace2 is all embeded. Any mod that uses Ace2 will have everything it need built into it. No dependencies.
Ah yes Kyahx, thanks for pointing that out :) The border turns blue when resting, and red when in combat, but as far as I can see there's no way to tell if PvP is turned on, or whether a mob has been tagged.
I really wanna give these frames a go but every time I boot up WoW and I check addon list it all looks fine, but when I go into game only the default bars are there. Any ideas?
Edit: Never mind I.. I had to download Ace2 and put that in and AUF, works now. Great looking frames btw

A tagged mob has a red border, and a non-tagged has a grey. This was the way it was in the Ace 1.3 version anways.
To tell if PvP is enabled, it doesn't seem to work on the Player frame, but if you target yourself, your target will have a green border if you are PvP enabled.

You shouldn't have to download anything...thats very odd.

Ah that's great thanks, so my feature request changes to perhaps having an option to change the background color aswell as the border, or show the icons, as I'm partially colour-blind and it's really damn hard to see the colour of the border, especially mid-fight.

I suppose he would if he didn't use an SVN client :)

Always use an SVN client...always always always use an SVN client and be sure that its set to download externals as well.
The biggest problem people seem to have with all of the mods posted here is that they don't properly get the externals or revision info downloaded, so be sure to *always* use an SVN client for mods hosted on the SVN.
And just in cast I wasn't clear...you should use an SVN client all of the time.
What would be sweet (even if this is a bit off topic) is a proper web-interface to download zipped versions of addons on the SVN with all the externals needed. :)
Back on topic:
I tried out these frames and I really like them but I have a suggestion. I would like a way to fake being in a party (showing the frames) with and without pets so that you can setup your frames before you enter a party. And also displaying fake buff/debuff icons so you see how much space frames take up in total.
Use your SVN client and update, it should be fixed now.
update to ACE2?OMG,PLS give me a zip file..........i can't open the URL :svn.wowace.com
"Use your SVN client and update"
Web browser ~= SVN client
Everyone says use an SVN Client but no one offers help. I've checked the Wiki and other links on the site and still cant download off the SVN with a client.
The wiki page is more than complete...even walks you through setting up and useing TortiseSVN. Other SVN clients are all fairly similar, and this is a topic that comes up in damn near every thread, all met with the same answer.
This is a development forum, these mods are in beta, some not even that far. If you can't figure out how to set up a proper SVN client (be it via googling for help, or reading the documentation that comes with your client of choice) then wait for a proper, tested, and released version on WoWInterface.
'PEBKAC' comes to mind... /sigh

so do i need Ace2 for this?

Kaelton answered your question when you asked it in the other thread already.
The end-user has no use for Ace2, everything they need for certain addons will be embedded.

tagged mod - It already does this.. the target frame gets a grey border.
pvp - your player frame gets a (PvP) on the mana / rage / energy bar.
If you turn off the border, it will color the background in stead. I'll might add a third option to do this, and still show the border.
