Call me noob (I know I am regarding those things), but "set up with packager keywords" doesn't tell anything to me.
How can I find out if a project here is set up like this or not?
PS: Finished deDE now!
the author has to set it up, and you don't know if a project is. To tell you the truth, doing this is a pain in the ass for an existing project. Tho now that i know how to do it, it's much easier. I had to do this for 2 of my addons.. it took about 3 hrs of trial and error to finally get it right
I have almost finished now the deDE-localization via the new system, and I have a question regarding this:
Is there anything else I need to do, or will in then be automatically implemented at some time, or do I still need to inform the author about it? This question not only applies to LittleWigs, but to all addons I'm trying to support with german translations.
I'm pretty sure the web localization has to be enabled in order for non-authors to even see the link. For example I don't see the Localization link for the BigWigs project, because it hasn't been enabled. Once a project enables the web localization such as LittleWigs has, then the source code files have to be modified so that the web information is pulled in when releases are made.
I have not changed the code to pull the web info yet. I was waiting for folks to get the translations updated. Now that all the current translations are fully or at least partially updated and I have released v3.0.0 with the old method, I'll probably update the svn code this week to start pulling from the web translations.
Yea, I don't get that X-Curse-Packaged-Version metadata either, one of the files at least has two entries, strangeness. Either way stanzilla, make sure you have the latest, latest release is v3.0.0, latest alpha is r540. And I'm still not sure how you got those errors. r489 didn't even have any real code in them for those bosses, maybe your addons aren't getting updated properly or something, very strange.
Ever since updating yesterday to r545, whatever translation changes were made are causing the following errors. Not going to post all of them, because there is 89 total in all, so instead, here is an example of the two types of errors being caused....appears to be triggering from each boss contained in littlewigs:

Localized to littlewigs exclusively because disabling the mod prevented the errors.

Wow, 89 seems really excessive, I certainly received some, fixed most, still a couple outstanding. There seems to a problem specifically with the Controller & Constructor module, I need to hunt down the wowace admin that does the translations stuff and find out what's up with that one.
What translation are running in Eatsbrains? And second question, are you running from a zip file or from an SVN download? If you run from SVN, that won't work any more. If you want cutting edge stuff, alpha releases, you'll need to just grab the alpha zip files.
To answer the first question, I am running enUS translation. As for the second question, I run a commit monitor to monitor changes in the SVN repositories and grab new versions from that. If you say to grab the zip files now, I will do that and let you know if that solves the problem on my end.

Yea, most developers and the wowace web team will suggest that you get zips over directly from the svn. And the new translations system is one of the reasons way. You should be able to set the CurseClient to download alphas if you really want to be bleeding edge. But on of the upsides to the new alpha/beta/release type system we have going on, is that I can code stuff at work when I'm bored, commit it, then go home and test it hours or days later and be confident that I'm not breaking a large portion of the user base. But that said, the translation stuff should be all spiffied up if you grab the latest alpha zip.
im not sure why but somehow the tbc-modules seem to miss a few translations. kaelthas, vexallus selin in magisters terrace for example dont have a german translation.
shall we do something about that ? ;)

I turned on the web translations for little-wigs-tbc, but haven't imported anything yet. it's pretty low on my life priority list :)
Today we did Halls of Stone and Halls of Lightning and i thought of a few changes.
The escort-event:
there are several "phases" in this fight. the firebeam & the shadoworb arent used right from the beginning. I think you could tie this to brans chat.
also, is it possible to warn for the shadoworbs (which you can avoid) and the firebeam?
Sjonnir the Ironshaper:
We did http://www.wowhead.com/?achievement=2155 today and i think it would help if you:
1) announce when the ooze starts spawning and when it stops
[should be 50% and 25% hp, but you should stop dps at 30% i think]
2) count oozes, their transformation, and especially the death sludges.
[we killed too many of them and died in the first attempts]
Ideas on this achievemtn and littlewigs are welcome ;)
Ill add the transcript of the fight tomorrow.
and i was thinking about http://www.wowhead.com/?achievement=1297#comments
some sort of warning, announcement, timer , whatever, to help with the webbed door would be useful, so we can whipe on purpose if he webbed the door
Harder for me to find oozes in german :) Since the boss doesn't cast the summon as far as I can tell, it might not be possible to detect when they spawn. I'll need some one that can read German to find the lines for me. Or else I'll have to get an english transcriptor.
stanzilla, are you sure that you're using the latest version?
latest change for stratholme has been rev 532 .
( not sure about this curse-tag here.. )

you could try r540 in the meanwhile.

Im still missing some triggers and im not sure wether it sounds good ;)
think we could change some of them to spellids anyway.
But this will take some time ;)
I've other things to kill at the moment ;)
