AoE mode is not possible at all with Blizzard's new threat API because of mob reachability (someone in raid must target a mob for it to be querable). Unless we start parsing the combat log again for every spell... no, not going back down that guessing game. :)
Afternoon, I have just downlaoded Omen-wrath-RC1.zip, im not sure if this is the current version, but i think it is. I am a Holy Priest, First of all mt HoT has never shown as threat on Omen2 and still does not on Omen3, this is something I lived with, however on Omen3 none of my heals are showing as threat. My shield and dmg show threat as they should, however no heals. Do i need to do something to show the threat generated by heals?

Omen shows what Blizzard says your threat is. Omen does not guess what your threat is. Healing does no threat if it is overheal. Only actual healing counts.
I think the deDE localization might have an incorrect path name in the source code repository. When I extract the latest .zip file (and apply my own patches under Linux) I see deDE in a lowercase "localization" directory and enUS is in an uppercase "Localization" directory.

I'm sorry, but it is correctly named Localization/deDE.lua in my folder. :)
Downloaded the latest version of Omen. Not bad! It took some configuration to get it where I want it, and still not 100% (display wise, still working on it though). There was one thing that I missed. I believe there was an option to show the tank in red? And there used to be an Agro Gain area... it was much easier to differentiate between my hunter and my pet, for example. Is there a way to re-enable this, am I just not seeing the option?
Currently, there is no intention to display threat on more than 1 target at a time (so choose between your target or your focus one). I'll add a keybind.
How do I get the focus become the target? As a shaman healer who uses grid, I almost always Focus the Boss and leave my target for other, more critical uses than threat control.

Probably no agro gain, because it's just a display of the Blizz threat info.
Omen3 relies completely on the Blizzard threat API and threat events. It does not attempt to calculate or extrapolate threat unlike Omen2.

Right-click on Omen, select "Use Focus Target"
I think that's the only place the option exists. I knew I saw it at one point, but it took me a while to find it again.

I agree that I also found this useful. I don't really see a reason why there can't be an "aggro gain" bar, as we know what the threat is on the player with aggro, and can either multiply that by 110% or 130% to get that aggro limit.
*I'm pretty sure those numbers are known fact and not assumptions, but I could be wrong. It's happened before.
having probs wit omen 3 sinc epatch the opmen meter will come on even wen i dont want it to..it is set to come on in a fight or in dungeon but will come on if i am summoned, open the quest log or land from flying and at other random times...this is an irritation over anything else..and have had to ctreate a macro so i can toggle it off again..

Is it possible to get back the option to color the player's own threat bar something unique (bright red was what we'd use in Omen/Omen2)?
Next update there will be an option to change your bar's color.

Hi, your localization file is unusable because it is not saved in UTF8 format.
Thanks in advance,
Stu.

Using a pet, joining a group/raid or enabling "When solo" doesn't help.. Any ideas?
Also, the minimap-button is gone :(
Download Barrel if you want the minimap button to return.
I'm sorry, but it is correctly named Localization/deDE.lua in my folder. :)
You need to install LibFuBarPlugin-3.0 separately (and possibly LibRock-1.0) to get the minimap button back.
As for showing, you might have it not to show when not in combat.
