I have a question about the adjustable range finder. I've set my Proximity to 12 for Saurfang, but the window only appears to show up to a range of 10. Am I doing something wrong?

Check both default and encounter specifik setting. Are both 12 or is one of them 10, if wich it what
Default is set to 10, the saurfang encounter is set to 12 with the custom range box checked. Wouldn't it make sense that this range would overwrite the default?
The custom range will only set when the encounter is set. If it's already to Saurfang it won't update to the custom range. I'll change it so it updates in real time.
I don't know, if this was already requested, but I would really love the possibility of a different warning from Defile casting for Casting Defile on me.
â¬d!t: Okay, it just seems, that I got a bug, that Defile on self isn't triggered correctly... or I just didn't observe it correct.

Using latest version. I couldn't find a shadowtrap on you option. There's the say option but that doesn't do any good as melee since we're stacked.
Download the alpha version from here http://www.wowace.com/addons/deus-vox-encounters/files/. Defile on self is the warning for when you're taking damage. I've added Defile Casting on self and Shadow Trap warnings/cooldowns to the alpha version.
Bigwigs or DBM seem to be more accurate with Sindragosa's Icy Grip / Blistering Cold cast. At least my raid leader announces the incoming grip more accurately than what I can see from DXE timers: there always seems to be 5-10 seconds between when the Icy Grip cooldown bar ends and the actual grip happens.
Is it because DBM actually uses Blistering Cold cooldown to track the next grip and DXE uses the actual Icy Grip cooldown? Would it be possible to get an option to track Blistering Cold cooldown rather than Icy Grip cd, since the grip happens more in line with the actual Blistering Cold cast (i.e. the grip won't happen if the boss won't start casting Blistering Cold immediately after(?) the grip)? Or should I make a ticket?
Icy Grip always comes before Blistering Cold, so that's not the problem. DBM and BigWigs have the cooldown before the last phase at ~69s, where as DXE's is set at ~77. I didn't find an interval < 77 in all of my logs. Personally, I haven't seen Icy Grip cast any earlier than the current time it's set at, though I could be wrong.

I'm not sure what you're saying in terms of what I was saying (), since it's funny if your cooldown is actually longer. I'm actually seeing what would be the opposite: The DBM (don't remember how it is in BW) timer for Blistering Cold ends at about second before the actual grip where as in DXE the gap is at least about 5 seconds. Weird.
And it's not just my observation from timers, our raid leader announces the "5 (or whatever) seconds to grip" with really good precision, and by that time my DXE timers have already "expired". :O
My mistake, the DBM and BW timers are actually longer. BW actually doesn't have a Icy Grip timer until phase 2. I guarantee you the times I got are closer to the cooldown (lower bound). It's a cooldown timer, so it will either cast when it expires or a few seconds after.
I had the same problems as Calest yesterday on Saurfang. Here is the scenario:
1. Fight begins, everything is OK, cooldown bars are running
2. Just after first adds I get DC
3. When I get back online DXE resyncs, but now I have two bars with adds cooldowns
4. As soon as next adds come into play I get another DC
5. Rinse, repeat.
At the end I had to disable DXE to be able to continue the fight. I want to mention that it was the first time I'd encountered such a problem - everything was OK last week.
I, also, had this last night on heroic Saurfang and was running the most recent alpha at that time (v477-90-gedda33b). I changed back to the most recent release (v477) and had no other disconnect issues. Everything is fine up until adds show up. Additionally, we were doing a regular 10-man to look at AVR: Encounters and had the same issues on Lady Deathwhisper. Everything was fine until the first adds spawned.
I'll try again tonight since I see you have released two more alphas in the past 24 hours though I'm not sure if you did anything that would have fixed what could have been causing this disconnect.
Man... Tuesday's raid was brutal. I love how customizable DXE is, but I had to go back to DBM because I kept getting disconnected every other fight. It's just circumstantial evidence, but after I went back to DBM I didn't have any more DCs.
I know I'm not helping without showing whatever crash logs I don't know how to generate, but if there is a way for me to help I'd gladly do it. Short of that, something needs to be done to fix the DC problem while running this addon.
Noticed last night that there were no timers (except enrage) for deathwhisper normal. I think there has been 2 updates since then so you may have it already. Was me and another user in the raid.
Download the alpha version from here http://www.wowace.com/addons/deus-vox-encounters/files/. Defile on self is the warning for when you're taking damage. I've added Defile Casting on self and Shadow Trap warnings/cooldowns to the alpha version.
I see shadowtrap warnings, but nothing for self. This should be an option, so am I suppose to just guess that i'm one of the stacked melee that's being targeted by shadowtrap. Can't you make it play a sound so that you actually know its on you. Just need a shadowtrap on self option under bars please. This is the download you posted that I'm using.

Thank you for your amazing AddOns and this change!

http://www.wowace.com/addons/deus-vox-encounters/tickets/87-sindragosa-grip/ I actually found this ticket that says fixed, but.. hmh.

Edit: I meant longer

Same here, always running latest build and a truckload of other addons (i even run DBM at the same time for the spelltimers and a few specific alerts)
