from what i've heard so far i only know that somehow rbs triggers it
but i don't think that rbs is doing something wrong because this is not happening when there are no addons active on the other side
i'm just trying to figure out what other addon is messing things up and can't handle or interferes with rbs
testing this has become quite a challenge, because i don't exactly know what triggers it and the only time i can be certain is when in a 10+ raid and usually people don't like to wait and test addons in ulduar
as for the screenshot, the only thing you could see there is the tooltip of the head slot item(with all modifications from whatever addons modifies the tooltip) with anchorpoint set to to upper right corner
i posted this here because if i know how to trigger it, it would be easier to test and find a solution for this
that's why i asked if there is a command to run the rbs checks manually
Bah. Well, then, stop playing wow, stop working your real job, stop sleeping and eating, and work 24 hours a day until you get this done! You're supposed to support all your users who don't pay you a dime!
lulz! :)
Thanks again for a great addon. Even though I'm now known as "the soup nazi" in my guild, they do appreciate all the reminders I give 'em through RBS.
ok, there was an error with people that had xperl and no ora on de_de clients a combination that must be quite popular in my raid,
there is a fix for this in the latest xperl and although i haven't tested this it is most likely the reason because everyone with the problem who gave me an addon list had the combination of xperl no ora and a de_de client
thanks again for your help even if this wasn't directly caused by rbs
looks like focus magic detection isn't working, no error, just no detection on the dashboard (the icon its dark and with a X) or the tooltip of the icon

Works perfectly for me.
Have you checked the specs window if the mage was detected as arcane?

A question about that new "It will now automatically whisper anyone missing Well Fed or a Healthstone when the Fish Feast and Soul Well expire warnings appear.":
I assume you are using the oRA2/CTRA checks for Healthstones here? How do you handle people that don't have it installed?
And how will you continue to support these features when oRA2 is finally replaced by oRA3, which doesn't seem to support item checks? (oRA3 finally got to Beta stage now)

Correct oRA2/CTRA. Those missing the addon are listed on the tool tip as missing the addon but don't get listed as missing a Healthstone.

Btw, same topic: Does RBS already support Blizzard maintanks? Because oRA3 uses the Blizzard interface (plus a sorted list), not the oRA2 list.
From RBS info page:
Tank List
RBS tries to automatically spot who the tanks are. It does this in two steps. First it looks at the tank list. (Every raid uses a tank list right?) It can use many tank list systems in common use including anything compatible with the Blizzard tank list, oRA2, ctra, or xperl. Then it looks at the talents and class of the players on the list to check they could tank. It will ignore players who are not tanks (eg Priests) that are only being used for following DPS or other scenarios.
You would only need "Non-tank %s%s broke %s on %s%s%s with %s." in english, argument selection is optional for translators.
Imagine "The red balloon" with a translation key of "The %s1 %s2." In French it would be "Le %s2 %s1." i.e. "Le ballon rouge". Or am I missing something?

I'm not completely sure about the syntax now, but I think it's "%1$s", not "%s1".
So in English that would be "The %1$s %2$s" or "The %s %s" (both are equal), in French "Le %2$s %1$s".
I noticed something weird in the raid yesterday. I don't think I have enough information on it to create a ticket, so I'll ask about it here:
The check for temporary weapon buff behaved very weird yesterday. It showed two of our Rogues 99% of the time missing the weapon buffs.
But as soon as I targetted and/or (not sure) inspected one of the Rogues, the buff warning went down to 1 and just a second later to 0 (which would have been right). When I cleared my target and/or (again not sure) closed the inspect window again, the warning counter went back up to 2.
Everything else was working perfectly (except for the whisper bug you already fixed, was using r279) and the third Rogue in the raid newer showed up with missing weapon buffs.
Any hints on what I could check/test if it happens again?

Try the latest alpha. I have put in a Scan button which makes it check the buffs and items there and then.
The only way RBS can affect another computer is by sending a message like a durability check. You can try disabling oRA2 if you have that.
We frequently have problems with our paladins failing to buff hunter and warlock pets, which annoys said hunters and warlocks. :)

now people think that the problem is gone and are somewhat unwilling to cooperate in finding the addon that can't handle the durability check :(
if i get someone to help me i will post the result here

Click it to remove the X.
nvm, was my bad I should read documentation before posting that lol

edit: And now that you included %s-like translations yourself, could we talk about my request (http://www.wowace.com/addons/raidbuffstatus/tickets/126-cc-warnings-too-hard-to-translate/) again?
Correct oRA2/CTRA. Those missing the addon are listed on the tool tip as missing the addon but don't get listed as missing a Healthstone.
Nag them to add the feature or do it myself.
"Tank %s has died!" is quite different from "Non-tank %s1%s2 broke %s3 on %s4%s5%s6 with %s7.
Yes OK I will look again.
And don't get a whisper, right? Then it's ok, I just don't want to spam them if RBS is not sure about their status ;)
:)

Vigilance, Prot Warrior buff, does same reduction.

Yes but only 1 person not whole class or all the raid.
