It works now, I'm wondering why do not put a skull on barraged people in Illidan fight.
Btw, if the encapsulated one has already a mark then it's not overwritten by skull and replaced back after

Ackis mentionend a bug in Blizzard's soundsystem (here) that allows addons to output sound while the ingame sound is disabled. That would be a great addition to BigWigs, making warnings always hearable. Don't you think?
Any chance Meteor Slash detection/warning on Brutallus could be fixed? BigWigs is not reporting when slashes happen. We even had two officers, one on each side, with BigWigs set to warn on Meteor Slash, and got no raid warnings for it.

This is on enUS live.
It's not 'broken'. There isn't a waning, and one won't be added. I'm not about to add a warning for every class specific ability. The bar works fine without creating useless spam.

What? It's a boss ability not a class ability, and there's already an option for it under the Brutallus module to choose whether it's announced, but it's not announcing. It also only happens every 20 (edit: er, 12) seconds or so, so it wouldn't be spam.
This would be immensely useful for us while learning the fight and doing post-wipe analysis. It would also be extremely helpful for the tanks, who need to keep count of Meteor Slashes so that they know when to taunt.
Edit: Honestly I don't see how it's any different than announcing Bloodboil.

No, please, no. If I've turned my sound off, I've turned it off for a reason. I don't want something overriding my choices. If I wanted sound, I'd turn sound on. If people want sounds but don't turn them on, I say PEBKAC and no addon should try to fix it.

meteor_desc = "Show a Meteor Slash timer bar.",
I don't see it say anything about a warning. Meteor slash is specific to tanks only, just like arcing smash on maulgar, or whirlwind on lurker, a bar is all that's needed. If someone is failing, then they aren't running a boss mod.
That's a bit of a straw-man argument, as few of the other options for the various boss modules list accurately in the description whether they warn, show a timer bar, both, or whatever.
On a related note, it's somewhat disappointing that there is so little granularity of control over which events generate warnings versus bars or both or whatever.

You could say the exact same thing about Deaden on EoS/RoS or Vanish Over on Council, but BigWigs puts out warnings for those. This seems rather inconsistent.

Insulting my guild is uncalled for :-\ I get the message though, and will no longer post user feedback on BigWigs. I'll just hack my local copy to add any features I want to play with.

You and I have different views on what insulting means. The point is, the bar is there, if someone is failing, they either 1. aren't looking at it. 2. don't have it.
In case 1, a warning won't help, in case 2, why should users with the mod have extra spam for the users too lazy to run a mod?
As to deaden/vanish etc, these abilities are very spread apart. Also, the mods themselves are light on warnings, where as there is a lot of warnings on the brutallus mod as there is. I _really_ can't understand *why* you think a warning is so essential when you have a pictographic bar on front of you. On top of that, it's a 12 second bar, so it's always emphasized, assuming you have it turned on.
EDIT: Just wanted to apologize for what seemed like an offense.
I was doing a version check for BigWigs and I saw the very nice feature that will tell people to update their copy of BigWigs. I was wondering if the scope of that could be increased to tell anyone in the raid who doesn't have it installed to install the mod. At the very least include the people who do not have the mod installed on the list so that it is easy to see who doesn't have it.
That would save me having to try to figure it out through process of elimination: 20/25 people have the mod... who are the 5?
I just wanted to repost this as I didn't see any reply to my question about the version checking and version update notification to raid members.

You don't get the point. I want warning sounds only, no game sounds at all. That's not possible at the moment and could be completly optional.
Seems it was pointing to an empty variable, although the code was there. Fixed now.
I will get new version for tomorrow night raid and I'll let you know

Sounds like something blizzard changed.
Icons on barraged players added.
You didn't read the OnEnable 3 line warning did you...
