Actually, I've been thinking about it lately... everyone keeps wanting some sort of means to verify that raidwarns are being sent for the "peons" to see... so maybe we need some sort of solution here?
How bout we add a detector to the raidwarn module... it'd add info into the fubar tooltip that shows what members are sending raidwarns if it detects any, and have an optional user-side alert to let you know if noone is sending any warnings during a boss fight. Something simple, like say we schedule a "no announcers" warning in 5 seconds every time a local message is shown. Whenever someone sends a raidwarn they also send a comm sync indicating that they're announcing. If you get one of these syncs the timer is cancelled... at least for the current boss fight.
That would be super, Tekkub. The optional alert for no announcers would be wonderful, then I could just leave all of BossBlock on and blissfully go about my business.

Hehe I just converted a bunch of our officers to BigWigs recently and had 2 of them ask me how to find their minimap button. I guess it must have been behind another button or something like you said, I told them to try doing /bigwigs minimapAttach because I thought they literally meant the button disappeared but they said that every time they typed that it just kept saying "Off"... I use FuBar so I have no clue what they are actually seeing. :) I'll have to let them know to look behind their other buttons... I didn't think of that last night. :)
For a number of our members BigWigs was under their ItemRack minimap button. ItemRack has an extra large button already, so it easily hide the entire BigWigs button. Having them drag the ItemRack button a bit solved most of the problems.
Also, another member reported that his BigWigs minimap button just did not exist while he had the CT_MapMod enabled. He ended up going through every addon, enabling them one at time with BigWigs until he found this. He just disabled CT_MadMod and the button showed up. You could ask your guild members about this as well. I'm sorry I don't know more about this.

If no announcers are recognized, the bigwigs in the raid could sync and look if someone is leader or officer and auto enable raidwarnings on one of them... optionally of course.
There's a larger variety of sounds available, so more important messages can grab your attention while simple info messages won't drive you to sticking sharp objects into your speakers
erm cant find anything related to it...id like to set special sound for bosses when they go fenzy
There seems to be a memory leak in BigWigs Ace2. I am using version R9465 and using MyMemory 1.2.11200 to monitor my memory usage. I just started using BigWigs last night, my guild is up to the 4 horsemen and we decided to use BigWig. We did nothing but work on the encounter for about 5 hours. During that time, my memory usage keep increasing slightly and never going back down. I would say it was about 2-4k by the end of the night.
Now, I know it was not caused by any of my other mods, I have been running my current set for 2 weeks and I always monitor my memory, and it have been constant. Included in my mods are SCT Ace2 version and SW_Stats Ace2 version.
Anyway, just wondering if anyone else is having the same issue.
That should not be caused by BigWigs. Although I'm not really familiar with the 4H module I'll check if there's anything in there that might cause that.
2 items from tonight.
edit: blah, i always forget to include the version i'm running! r10921 on wowinterface.com
1. a hunter reported to me that on the firemaw fight whenever she would feign death, the wing buffet bar would reset. the reset was not being pushed out to the rest of the bigwigs users though, so it stayed accurate for all of us.
2. also during the firemaw encounter tonight i received this error:
["message"] = "[2006/09/13 20:59:52-85]: <unknown>:\n<in C code>: in function `next'\nAceEvent-2.0\\AceEvent-2.0.lua:420: in function <...ce\\AddOns\\BigWigs\\Libs\\AceEvent-2.0\\AceEvent-2.0.lua:392>\n\n ---",
["time"] = "2006/09/13 20:59:52",
that's a copy/paste from bugsack (i have the mod set to record errors into the savedvariables file).
it happened right at the start of the fight, like within 10seconds of engaging him. i dont have more details - bigwigs seemed to function properly for me the rest of the fight - all notifications/bars/timers/etc worked just fine. i reloaded my UI after looting, and did not receive the error again. (or any other bigwigs errors for that matter!).
i dont know if the error i got is related to the error the hunter in the raid got with her feigning. i was a raid (A)ssistant, she was not.
This is more of a suggestion than a bug report, but would it be at all possible to add 2 timers to the Thaddius encounter?
1) Feugen does a war stomp ability every 20 seconds after the first (making it dodgeable) which would reduce patch healing a substantial amount. the ability is called "War Stomp" and appears as "Feugen's War Stompe hits you for ****." in the combat log.
2) a bit more complicated, would it be possible to generate an 18 second timer after Feugan or Stalagg change targets? This would prevent occasional 1-shotting of rogues/warriors when they throw the tank and immediatly change targets to a more squishy member of the raid.
OK - updated Bug-Report for the newest build (at the current time it looks that with every update the amount of bugs increases dramatically :( )
1. Razuvious Module: The Shout timers sometimes stop their announcements and after some shouts they are back. This is random. In earlier versions of bigwigs this problem wasn't there. When Razuvious is deafeatet the boss-module for razuvious re-activates.
2. 3 Drakes in BWL: Wing Buffet Timers seem to be completely borked now. They show up everytime but sometimes they simply interrupt and begin a new count, which confuses the complete raid. This seems to be a random problem too.
3. Chromaggus Module: There seems to be a sync problem with the english and german versions of bigwigs. The breathes don't show everytime, sometimes no breath is shown, sometimes only one breath is shown - it's completely random. The breath timers itself are OK though and show the right time when they show up.
Another strange thing is that on my english client I geht a warning like "Zeitraffer casting now". This is the german description of "Time Lapse"! There must be something wrong with english-german-client combination of bigwigs.
4. Skeram-Module: Yesterday I got some strange message that skeram was defeatet while we fought against him. Think it has something to do with the replicates of him. After defeating Skeram, the boss-module re-activates (similar to razuvious)
5. C'Thun-Module: Will check it today but according to some user-postings it seems to be fixed.

Razuvious has already been fixed, you should update.
I will fix issue 2 and 3 as soon as the SVN is functional again.

The ugly story is that I already use the latest version of bigwigs, but some of my guild mates use slightly outdated versions 98xx and 102xx. Do they have to update aswell to get no errors with razu?
Thank you that you are looking into the two bwl issues :)
Yesterday evening I wrote down all the Razuvious shouts that I´ve seen so far. Using the german Client those are:
starttrigger1 = "Die Zeit des \195\156bens ist vorbei! Zeigt mir, was ihr gelernt habt!",
starttrigger2 = "Streckt sie nieder... oder habt ihr ein Problem damit?",
starttrigger3 = "Lasst keine Gnade walten!",
starttrigger4 = "Befolgt meine Befehle!",
starttrigger5 = "Stellt euch und k\195\164mpft!",
starttrigger6 = "Ich fange gerade erst an!",
starttrigger7 = "Zeigt mir, was ihr k\195\182nnt!",
starttrigger8 = "Ihr ent\195\164uscht mich, meine Sch\195\188ler!",
Another possibility would be, to start the trigger everytime Razuvious shouts something. I am not really sure about it, but I think he does not shout between his "shouts" (you know what I mean^^)

Yes, everyone must update in order for the razu module to not reactivate after you've killed him, since BW syncs boss activation.

unfortunately that would activate the disrupting shout timer when he performs triumphant shout as well.
I have pushed for my guild to install bigwigs and it is now mandatory.
We are currently working on C'Thun and while the mod author probably intended the RW messages and bar labels to be amusing, I found them highly offensive and immature. This is a sharp contrast to the rest of the boss mods which have concise and clear messages about what is going on.
"Tentacle Rape Party - Pleasure!" is pretty offensive and "Tentacle Party - What's in your pants?" is just immature. I feel pretty bad now for recommending this mod to everyone in my guild given the offensive and immature nature of these warnings. Not everyone thinks this is funny and considering a large portion of women are the victims of sexual assault in their lifetime I find the warnings highly insensitive and immature. There is the "Rape is never funny" option but whether I had it checked or unchecked didn't seem to matter; I believe the broadcaster has to have it checked. Even the tooltip on that option, something like "Some people don't get hentai jokes" I find ignorant; it's not that most people don't get hentai jokes so much that sexual assault isn't really funny. Plus one shouldn't have to dig through options to get "unoffensive" mod messages.
If a mod author could change these it would be appreciated.

You might want to get the latest version and try that out.
http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/fileinfo.php?id=5086 has r10921 or you can get r10922 off the svn.
I am interested in this as well.
maybe they were just putting up the the new r10921 file
I see it there now at http://svn.wowace.com/files/BigWigs-r10921.zip
and it's also up at http://svn.wowace.com/root/trunk/BigWigs/ which is r10922
ammo has also recently been putting the file on wowi, 10921 is up there at http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/fileinfo.php?id=5086
Shame on you getting peoples hopes up.. tisk tisk ;p
