1. Uhm, so you say you defined your own button with Arcane Intellect and it says it's casting Arcane Brillance?
I created a button. Select Buff > Predefined Buff > (Group) Arcane Intellect.
If I click the button it buffs the next person in line with arcane intellect (no matter how many need it, or if AB would be better). If I mouse onto the popup and click on a name it says casting Arcane Brilliance, but it actually casts Arcane Intellect.
The way I get around this is I create another button with a custom buff called Arcane Brilliance.

Doh. The data is very useful in groups too. Didn't realize it was more complex than just not hiding it while in group.
i first noticed it in sct when [Nature Protection ] came up. one time i needed to find who had potted so i tried "Nature Protection" which didnt work. then i remember the space, tried it and it worked fine :P
Actually, it has nothing to do with the aura limit of the players. XRS is using SE Auras from Tekkub which relies on receiving or losing a buff, nothing else.
Ok, so your saying its not an issue with XRS, but instead its a flaw in SE Auras?
As far as I can tell from the SE Aura code it has a hard limit of a max 16 buffs and 16 debuffs. Players can have 32 buffs if I am not mistaken, though you typically only see the first 16 unless you have a UI mod (like Buffalo) that shows all 32.
