This week we get Faction Champions in ToC - anyone know if there is a chest that loot is from (there's no containers listed - http://www.wowhead.com/?objects=3)? I didn't do PTR so I don't know. This could mean each faction champion (both horde/alliance) would need to be added to boss aliases and translations if they each/some drop loot. http://www.wowwiki.com/Faction_Champions
Also if someone could push this as an alpha that would be awesome, save a lot of manual work.
We think it will be something like "Cache of the Champion" but we need to wait untill tuesday/wednesday to find out and ,as i quoted above ,im not sure wether headcount handles chests correctly at the moment.
I don't think it's so much that it doesn't handle chests correctly, it's that it doesn't handle bosses that don't actually die (a-la-4 watchers). I'm playing around with a patch to include the boss 'death' yells to trigger a death in HeadCount but it's still work in progress at the moment.
Hi there, I just got your mod b/c our guild has switched to an attendance based loot structure. I havent been able to use it for a raid yet (hopefully I will tonight) but when I mocked up a couple of test raids I wasnt able to find a way to merge their data and export that as a whole.
We base loot priority on attendance over a month long period and I was wondering if there is a way to to export a months worth of raid tracking into one post for our boards. If I'm missing how to achieve that with this mod I would love a lil help on how to go about that. If I'm unable to do that with this mod do you have any suggestions for raid trackers that would allow me to do this?
I've potentially got the 4 watchers sorted, and i've added all of the faction champions into my local copy's aliases for testing tonight. Once i've verified that my next lot of changes work i'll post another patch.
There is absolutely no code at present that uses the containers. You'll probably have noticed HeadCount.BOSS_TARGET in HeadCountConstants.lua, but it's never implemented anywhere in code, and any code that relied on opening containers would mean that non-ML raiders, or groups using Group Loot etc wouldn't have the boss kills etc. By aliasing all of the faction champions, in theory their deaths will sum to a kill. My only concern with adding them all as aliases would be that once one died the boss kill would be logged (which possibly also happens if you kill off one or more of the 4 horsemen, but don't kill them all).
- Fixes new raid difficulty tiers
- Correctly log the 4 watchers boss kills
- Blacklist some mobs/bosses that show up as boss kills
- Adds Coliseum boss support
- Adds new blacklist items
- Adds deDE translations
- Adds esES translations
Just an additional note, although the SVN code won't error anymore, it still fails at using the right function to get raid difficulty, and won't handle all 4 tiers of difficulty even if it was using the right function as all 25mans will be labled as "Heroic" rather than just the 10man and 25man heroic versions.
