one thing I have to ask in advance, concerning the popup window...
What happens if the window is open while some other item is looted? Does it automatically display the next item after trying to close it? What happens if not 1 but 2 (3,4...) items are looted during editing the loot?

Thanks for your work so far. ;)

This part of the feature took some care. If the loot popup window is enabled, items are stored into a queue if the loot popup window is already being displayed for the user to edit the attributes of a loot item.
An example:
1. Loot #1 is distributed to a member. Management popup window is displayed for loot #1 since no popup window is displaying.
2. Loot #2 is distributed to a member. Loot #2 is added to the popup queue.
3. Loot #3 is distributed to a member. Loot #3 is added to the popup queue.
4. The user edits the DKP cost for loot #1 in the popup window and saves, closing the window. Management popup window is displayed automatically for the next item in queue, loot #2.
5. The user edits the DKP cost for loot #2 in the popup window and saves, closing the window. Management popup window is displayed automatically for the next item in queue, loot #3.
6. The user edits the DKP cost for loot #3 in the popup window and saves, closing the window.
7. Loot #4 is distributed to a member. Management popup window is displayed for loot #4 since no popup window is displaying.
This way, items are not lost from displaying if an item is looted while another is being edited.
The loot popup menu works like a charm. ;) One thing that came to mind, though... does it pop up during combat or only out of combat? Maybe an option for that would make sense. The menu would then only pop up once one is out of combat.
An example for that would be the waves in Hyjal, where random loot often has to be distributed during combat.
I think it pops up during combat, did a MH run yesterday. An option to only make the window pop up after combat would be good, but nothing too important i think.
Keyword right there, if you decide to give that any thought, Option to pop the window up when you leave combat. I for once prefer it to pop up as the item is being awarded to a player since sometimes wow just bugs and keeps you in combat even though you're not. Also in Hyjal you can be kept in combat for enough time to force you to scroll around to find the DKP cost of an item, which would make the popup pretty much redudant since it's there to edit the item quicker.
Anyway I did two raids since you added the popup and it works like a charm! I'm now officially in love with your addon, and would like to have it's babies. Do I need to ask your permission? :P
Really though, formidable work. I will make sure all the officers of my guild move over to this addon, Afterhours of Skullcrusher thanks you!
Now that the loot popup is in place, i've been giving it a whirl.
A couple of things come to mind :
- saving DKP cost of item, and autofilling with that, rather than defaulting to 0. If you could allow us to specify a function to call to get the DKP cost itself, that would be perfect , but I would be happy with it remembering the last non-0 cost of an item.
- moving the Disenchant / Bank etc looters out of the dropdown and into the main frame

Thanks for the feedback.
I will see what I can regarding the OOC option for the loot management popup frame. When it is implemented, it will be configurable to allow users the options to have it immediately display (regardless of current status) or stall the window from popping up in combat until the player gets out of combat.

DKP cost tracking is on the wishlist, but I have no timetable in terms of when I will be able to get to work on it. The feature will take some care, but it makes sense to automate the entry process as much as possible.
What is the reason for moving the disenchanted, bank, and offspec choices out of the dropdown menu? It is for convenience since these buttons might be used more often (1 less click to change the looter)?

A lot of stuff gets disenchanted in MH and BT, so for me being able to set it disenchanted quickly would be great. Its the move-mouse, click-dropdown, move-mouse. Having it as just move-mouse, would be a lot simpler.
Usually, the only times that you would want to change a looter, is to set it to disenchant/bank/offspec.
Things are made a bit worse by the fact that I'm usually tanking as well as ML'ing, so being able to assign loot to the correct place quickly would be great.
Awesome mod, one thing I would like to know... We are a casual guild, no DKP, etc, but do use headcount for data tracking purposes (i.e. we export to phpbb, and use headcounts output to just keep notes of who went, what they got, how long the raid took, etc).
I often start the raid, and then it takes 10-20 mins to get the raid actually going.. I.e. I start doing invites around 8:30, and usually don't get started with the trash until 8:50ish..
Is there a /command I can use to 'reset' the start time of the current raid? Or a command to just reset everything? I went looking for the command last night, but didn't have a lot of time to find it.

The easiest thing to do given the current available commands would be to use the end active raid button in the UI. You would end the currently active raid and automatically start a new raid (since you're still in a raid) at the time you want to. The downside is now that you have two raids instead of one. The staging raid that started 10-20 minutes earlier for invites/organization would have to be deleted if you want to do some basic data housekeeping.

I can immediately delete the small staging/organization raid right? thanks, this process will work just fine for me.

A user previously had this exact problem. Are you using an old version of Ace2 bundled with another addon you are using? I would double check your old addons or refresh your addon directory to make sure all your addons are up to date. The user who experienced this problem earlier wrote that another addon, Recap caused problems. I imagine there is a more generic problem that causes this, like an old-embedded version of Ace2 is being loaded into memory, but I'm not certain.

Yes, you can delete old raids or even the current raid while in the middle of a currently active raid.

I fixed the problem by using WAU to update all my addons, including IceHUD and now the problem is gone.
