Is it possible to do some kind of automated multiple item check? To check which players are properly prepared for raid?
I.e.:
Mana, healing potions
All kinds of flasks
All kinds of food
All I found out, there is a way by using "/ora item check item_name". But then I get results window and I have to type another "/ora item check item_name".
Perhaps you can use another addon for this. X-Perl Unitframes has a more advanced item check interface, and RaidSpy has some predefined checks that you can select from a menu.
I've played - I've searched - and I'm a total noob... There doesn't appear to be any manual or guide on how to use oRA2. I managed to figure out most of the features by playing with it - but I'm failing to grasp how to properly use Main Tank list (and why in the world are there 10 main tanks possible?) and Player Target list (and what it's actual use is). Any insight would be greatly appreciated on how and why to use these two features.
Also, is there any listing of just how much is compatible with users of CTRA - if I can avoid trying to get everyone to migrate over to oRA2 it would be nice.
I'm also not seeing the Cooldown Monitor on screen - what's that supposed to be showing me, and how do I activate it?
Main Tank list shows the tanks that has been set up by the RaidLeader/assistants. In many fights you need more than just the Maintank so you put all the tanks/offtanks in there. By doing so the raid always sees the targets the tanks have (easy targetswitching) and also if you put on targets target you see who their target doin dmg to (healing easier).
Playertarget is like MT-targets, but your own "personal" list, not set by RL. I use it in arena or 5man instances to follow warrior target.
Cooldownmonitor etc can now be moved again. Turned out blizzard changed the key parameter for their modifier key event. It now gets 'RALT' and 'LALT' instead of just 'ALT'.
oRA2 will only detect and share 4 cooldowns:
Druid: Rebirth
Warlock: Soulstone Resurrection
Paladin: Divine Intervention
Shaman: Reincarnation
I'm well aware of what the oooldown monitor does and doesn't show. However for a period it was showing nothing for me not even my own (Rebirth) cooldown.
This now appears to have resolved itself. And I had cooldowns showing last raid. If this happens again I'll start to dig deeper.
I have a problem with the "Target MT 1" (or 2,3,4) Key.
I setup a Hotkey for "Target MT", but it doen't works.
Hotkey for "Assist MT" works fine, but "Target MT" doesn't works...
In an earlier version of oRA2, this works fine, but not in the newest on.
Can anybody check this?
Perhaps I skimmed over the answer while reading a large chunk of the post but as of late, my player targets have been "sticking." What I mean by this is that I can change a PT, but can not actually delete them from the list. Perhaps it's just something on my part but I've not introduced any new mods recently and it's just started happening.. Any help would be appreciated =)
Edit: MTs are acting the same way.
I've noticed something similar for a while now. Seems like you just have to give it time and the system will catch up. I don't use the FuBar plugin for removing anymore, I use the slash commands which seems to hit immediately.
Mayhaps it's just a comm lag between FuBar and ORA?
ct_raidassist has been updated to 2.003. you can get it at www.ctmod.net
could you please make it respond to ctra-version-checks with the new version so i don?t always have to explain my raidleader, that my ct is not out of date.
i couldn?t find a complete changelog, but it seems there have only been made minor fixes.

Blizzard made setting "Blizzard MT targets" and "Blizzard Main Assist Targets" protected functions, you can only set these from the Blizzard raid ui/tab now. If Ora2 when setting it's ora2/ctra MT and MA targets is trying to set the blizzard targets also this could be where the problem is arising as it would be tainting the UI.
Haven't looked at the ora2 code in awhile so no idea if it does this.

It does not. It has it's own ordered list, completely separate from blizzards crappy unordered list.
I'm having the same problem as Ideus, the popup-tooltip interface from the oRA2 fubar/minimap icon for setting tanks lets me add but not remove tanks. Clicking a tank to remove it does nothing.
Slashcommands and the right-click menu -> Maintanks -> Remove thingy work ok.
I love orA2!
One feature request: Is it possible to get a option to change the width of the MT/Target/ToT?
Or is this already possible? Just found the scale-option that does not fit my wish :(
is it possible to use ora2 in macros?
for example, something like "/cast [target=ORA2PLAYERTARGET1] Spellname" to cast a spell on the current player target #1?
Suggestion: Any possible way in the menu to add another option to the Group section to notify on pets? Group Change and Member change are fine but an option to disable when pets join would be lovely. It gets spammy in BGs with a lock or hunter.

We have a mix of ORA2 and CTRA users and it works just fine in raids. See http://www.wowace.com/wiki/ORA2
The Cooldown monitor is off by default if youre not in raid. Toggle/unlock it to see it. It shows CDs like combatress, soulstone, ankh.
Thanks Gagorian for figuring that one out

I have Target MT on SHIFT+F5
Thanks!

Would really like to get it down to 30% like the rest of my interface.

and is it possible to extend the cooldown monitor to the druid skill "innervate"?
