Hello, I had a question about the oRA2 cooldowns. Mid raid last night I had a game crash right after a boss attempt where we used a number of cooldowns (soulstones, ankhs, battle resses). When I came back into the game all the cool down info was gone and I was wondering if there was any way to reaquire that info from the raid?
The cooldown info should be stored in saved vars and cleaned up if nolonger appropriate, I'll look into why you're losing it when loggin back in a raid.
I have been much more careful about not alt+tabbing during a raid and crashing my game but next time it happens I'll be sure to look for the "Request Status" option.
I have also noticed that sometimes when the Main Tank windows are set they will not show up on my screen until I go in and reset them myself. Would the Request Status option help with that as well?
If you're getting the alt tab crashes set your Texture Detail to high in wow's video options. Basically there's a serious problem with low quality textures and many video cards atm.
Hi, got a couple of questions about this addon. No I didn't read the 52 pages but I did read the first and the last 5 or so. I did read http://www.files.wowace.com/wiki/ORA2 but still I do not realy see the advantages of using oRA2 over CTRA?
Somebody even said a cooldowntimer couldn't be added without ctra adding it first or it would break compatibility. So why would any guild (or anybody) make this 'th?' raiding addon over ctra?
Thank you.. seems there isn't much reason to switch if it's just the functionality you're after. And with a recent PC efficiency isn't that big a deal.. Hell I can run 2 copies of wow at the same time and not notice any performance loss.
Hi there,
I'd like to make some suggestions for the ORA2 Maintank display:
- An option to hide the Maintank (but still retain the MT-Target and TargetTarget)
- An option to keep the MT-Target and TargetTarget frames visible even when there is none (displaying a text no target or something like that)
Reason for these requests:
- for me as a healer seeing the actual MT isn't that important in many fights, since he'll also show up on his MT-TargetTarget - and if he doesn't I'd better heal the current MTTT.
- when using Click-Casting to heal via the MT-TargetTarget frame and it suddenly turns invisible (since there is no longer a valid MTTT) you start clicking into the 3D-world or whatever is behind the ORA2 frames with unknown consequences.
If any of the tanks set as MTs have a Salvation buff (either 5 min or 15 min) could there be some kind of visual indicator added to the MT display? Like maybe a thick red border around the frame or something?
When we use pally or druid tanks they sometimes forget to click salv off and as RL it gets tedious having to constantly check that "manually".
Can you please ad Symbol of Kings to the reagents check for pallies, maybe im missing something, but it never shows palliesduring the reagent check, i looked at the code and it looks like its only checking for Symbol of Divinity
I use grid for my raid frames, with ora2 for my MT frames.
Any chance that ora2 MT frames could add in support for Threat1.0?
I know pitbull has it, but I'm perfectly happy with my grid ora2 combo.. I don't want to drop the ora2 MT frames to use pitbull's mt frames to get threat1.0 support..
I use oRA2 in conjunction with sRaidFrames & DeadlyBossMods for my raiding information and recently updated oRA2 to rev 39501.1009. I noticed that the resurrection monitor no longer shows me other rezzes being performed, but it does list my own activity. Would this be an oRA2 issue? Any insights on this?

That happens to me randomly from time to time as well.... not only since latest revisions, but for quiet some time now.
Sometimes I do see the others performing a ressurection, sometimes I do not.
lol <3 Ammo ... and while under some views it would be proper to...
I aggree.. it would be bloat not something that oRA needs to handle ; maybe as a plugin but not mainstream.
