You can share with members in your party or raid now. Either share the zone data from the individual zone in the mob database or go to the "data sharing" option in the first tab to share the crowd control priority config, raid icon configuration and the entire mob database,
Had a strange issue tonight. We were fighting Kael and I set up his adds to be tanked with different priorities for kill order. On mousing over them to target them like I always do it would not put any marks at all on them. It worked for the rest of the run with trash mobs though.

I am about to start leading Black Temple raids. None of the players that I will take have been in BT, yet. I was wondering if a MagicMarker user that has been using this addon in Black Temple could export their MagicMarker Black Temple database (with CC methods and prioritizations) that I could then "import". Since my guild obviously not at the bleeding edge of progression, it makes little sense to me to "re-invent the wheel". If this is not possible, please let me know, so I stop asking about it :)
easiest way is to find someone you can join in a raid with :) Other than that it's possible just to copy the saved variables. I do have plans to make defaults available based on my own guild settings.

There is only one guild on my server that has advanced in BT and they don't use MM. If you can post your saved variables file somewhere for me to get, that would be great. If not, I will wait until its included in the standard release or endeavor to set up my own. Cheers.
I'm in the process of adding a new system that has two priorities per mob - tank and cc priority. This isn't required for using the addon but can be nice in some circumstances. With this comes a new marking logic that is currenty working but flawed (especially it will completely mess up marks mid combat). Once I'vr stabilized that a bit I'll look at releasing some data at least.

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!!
I would call the tank priority "kill priority", but that shouldn't matter for the usage.
Sleep? There is a sleep spell? I have Hibernate already, is that what you're thinking about? I don't think there's been an actual sleep spell since alpha when priests had one.
ok, ive setup individual mobs tank/CC ect ive set-up icons for tanking and CCing
but whenever i apply raid markers by holding down modifier and swooshing over the mobs with my mouse ....
the magic marker never apply's a skull to the pack
ive set say tank #1 marker orange tank #2 skull tank #3 purple and i swoosh over and it will mark 1 orange and 1 purple and refuse to mark the skull....
is there some setting for this or what's going on :(

Gotta post and say you rock. One of the best mod's i've run into in a LONG time. I hate marking but there are very few people in my raids who will do it correctly. If our MT is not on we'll often wind up passing marking responsibility between officers, switching whenever someone bitchs.
With this mod marking is painless, quick, and reliable. You have singlehandedly removed a substantial pain of trash.
Just curious: I don't personally like the slider approach to setting a priority. I would much prefer to use a 1-99 numerical scale. Am I the only person with this mindset?
Not a big deal at all, just my 1.25 cents.
Many folks out there waiting for this addon to include (or link to) established databases of instances. Apparently peeps feel as though there are enuff addons out there that have yet be configured to work properly - they're not willing to get more. This addon will become so much more widespread once it starts coming with populated data.
Ye, I second that... I really love this addon for raiding. Saves quite some time.
But... it took me like 1 hour to set it up for the first 3 bosses in BT (or rather for the trash in between).
Most likely because I use the german client, so I went wowwiki -> looked the mobs up by zone -> went to Allakhazam to get the german name -> went to wowhead to get the pic -> set the mob up in MM.
is it possible to add MobSpells support?

I'll upload my savedvariable after BT tonight so you've got a pretty good setup for BT/SWP.
great work, we'r lovin' it. It is possible to add 'Sleep' into the CC methods?
best regards.
