PLEASE POST ALL BUGS AND FEATURE REQUESTS ON JIRA: http://jira.wowace.com/browse/RBM There will NOT be a DBM plugin written for RBM. Sorry :p
Per Tekkub's suggestion I am making a new official thread for this.
RBM is the spiritual succesor to BarAnnounce. The majority of the code has been rewritten or refactored. RBM is roughly half the size of BA3, with twice the features.
RBM main functionality is that only one person needs a boss module for the entire raid to receive alerts. This allows you to have the ability to have only one person running the boss mod and if there is an error to get it corrected quickly and all people benefit from the correction rather than everyone having to update their mods for it to work properly. This is also very good for new encounters which mods are not written for because you can update on-the-fly and not have to worry about people updating. Also, I am typically in the IRC Channel, if there is a bug with a boss mod, let me know and I will get it fixed asap.
Along with the Boss-Mods that RBM has, there are several other plugins that you can get for it. These include: CooldownWatch: Allows you to track your cooldowns in a filtered environment of your choice and syncronize your cooldowns with others in your raid.(Included)
ie: If 3 mages have RBM installed and have Counter-Spell set to be announced, every mage will see all Counterspell Cooldowns to be able to do a rotation much easier. DeBuff Watch: Allows you to track the debuffs/buffs you cast on players/mobs in a filtered environment(Included) AutoRespond: Allows you to auto-respond to tells when you are incombat with a boss, this will not filter tells from people in your raid/group(Included) SpamBlock: Allows you to block all whispers, raid warnings, raid chat, raid warnings from boss mods, etc while incombat with a boss.(Included) TestSuite: Allows you to test your configuration of all current bars.(Included) DrumsWatch: Tracks party members Drums of Battle Cooldown TrapWatch: Tracks hunter's Ice Trap Cooldown, Duration and Uptime. TotemWatch: Tracks Shamans Windfury Totem Pulsing, Timer, Totem Timers, and Water Shield Charges/Duration
You have the ability to make any number of frames that you want, have bars travel from one frame to another depending on time remaining or percentage of time remaining, all with different styles. You can also setup sound events that will alert you when certain bars are almost over.
There is a lot more things that RBM has the capability of doing such as filtering by bar names, bar types, categories, and much much more. Unlike other mods, RBM updates all information on the fly. ie: If you cast Hunter's Mark on a mob, wait 30 seconds and recast it on the same mob. Some mods will still show 1:30 left remaining on Hunters Mark, RBM will show the correct 2:00 duration.
RBM was originally written by Kamerial, the author of Dock. When Risen quit wow, he handed over development of RBM to me. RBM is by far from perfect, it is just another option to use in the WoW-Mod world.
I am going to keep the list below updated with upcoming changes/fixes, the list will be cleared each release

I've always been hoping that someone would make an all-in-one timer addon with this level of configurability. I'l be looking forward to the development of this one.
Is there any chance of 'log based capture' for cooldowns,de|bufs, interupts and the like?
I have terrible luck getting other people to download addons just to synchronise with me.
It would be great if there was stand-alone functionality for atleast interupt cooldowns.
Very interesting, and MUCH more informative then the previous iteration :p
Yes well I suck at writing descriptions as you can probably tell, hence I copied Kamerials :(

I'll add it to my list of things to get done, as it stands I am still getting other bugs fixed in it and finishing up the boss mods for Sunwell, SSC, TK, Gruuls, and Bagtherdon which is taking the majority of my time (as well as raiding lol).
As it stands, it MAY do that how it is (I am not completely sure, I do not have anything to test it with...huntard), check it out and let me know if it doesn't it is definately something I can add into another plugin.
I'm interested in trying other bar addons as replacements for Sorren Timers + CooldownTimers 2. However, I haven't seen any others that I like better. RBM looks interesting but I can't find any good documentation, so I have some questions:
1. Is RBM able to determine/guess when a mob triggers your Hunter trap and show an effect time for it? Does the new combat log system allow for a better implementation of this?
2. Is RBM able to do things like recovering timers for buffs/debuffs on other units after, say, a /reloadui?
3. Does RBM show changes to settings (such as bar size) in real time instead of requiring a /reloadui? I haven't seen a bar addon yet that can do this, which is ridiculous considering that other bar-using addons such as Omen, BigWigs, EBB etc. can do it fine.
4. Does RBM use LibSharedMedia-3.0 (or at least LibSharedMedia-2.0) to make a wide array of bar textures and fonts available to the user?
5. Does RBM have options to set the alpha/transparency of bars?
6. Does RBM allow the user to extensively control what text is displayed on the bars and where (e.g. specify independently where on the bar the time and effect names appear)?
7. Does RBM show the stack number of stacking effects in WoW 2.4? (e.g. Lifebloom)

I haven't looked at it since Apoco took over, but I'll answer what I can since I built the core.
3. All settings are changed immediately, no reloadui (unless you reset your profile).
4. Uses SM-3.0, and all texture, sound, and font options come from it.
5. Has transparency options for the base frame, which in turn affects the bars.
6. What text: no not really, that's up to the individual plugin (some may offer customizable text, others not). Where: yes, it offers full support for alignment and offsets of the timer and label that are independent of each other.
Okay I just tried it and it's really really nice. Some quirks:
1. Player pets are not detected as player pet, but instead are counted as raid members. This results in pet buffs not being tracked if I turn off raid member buff tracking.
2. Can't find any way to get the Deadly Aim proc buff from my Hunter BT trinket to get tracked.
3. Would be nice if there were a way to set a discrete frame width so that I can make my frames the exact same size (I'm kind of OCD about that :p).
4. I set Misdirection to be announced but nothing happens. RBM is definitely tracking it as a cooldown.
5. Mend Pet is being tracked as a buff rather than a HoT.
Edit: 6. Rapid Fire's 3 min cooldown is not tracked, even though I selected it to be.
Also, one side note: it actually uses LibSharedMedia-2.0 rather than 3.0, but that's not really significant :p
He didn't realize that I didn't release the Ace3 version (which used SM3). I will update this to SM3 when I get the chance.
Announcing sets it to sync with other raid members using the addon. So say two hunters use MD and both have it set to announce, they will both see each others cooldown. It does not Announce it to the raid.
I am aware of the hunter pet issues with tracking, I am still trying to work with that. I am a hunter too, yes I'm aware its annoying as shit lol. The frame width should be able to be set (I don't recall right now, not ingame), if its not it is something I can easily add I imagine. I haven't had any problems tracking Rapid Fire. What locale are you using? enUS I will assume but not sure.

Ah okay thanks.
The frame width should be able to be set (I don't recall right now, not ingame), if its not it is something I can easily add I imagine.
I looked around for it quite a bit. It seems the only way to change the width is to drag the lower-right corner, which doesn't allow me to get any idea of what the discrete value of the width is.
I haven't had any problems tracking Rapid Fire. What locale are you using? enUS I will assume but not sure.
Yes, enUS. The Rapid Fire buff is tracked, but not the cooldown.
Will add Deadly Aim buff.
Cool, thanks.
I noticed some weird things on my Paladin tonight:
1. It doesn't track trinket cooldowns and other obscure things like my Paladin's Goblin Dragon Gun's buff nor its cooldown, while Sorren Timers + CooldownTimers2 reported both.
2. Forbearance debuff from bubbling myself was not tracked.
3. When bubbling myself the timer bar for the bubble buff looked weird, like it was 99% depleted to start with.
It seems like it would be useful for RBM to be able to add to its list of known buffs/cooldowns/whatever dynamically. I think Sorren/CDT2 do something along those lines.
Remember, Cooldown Watch and De|Buff Watch are two SEPARATE plugins. Cooldown Watch tracks the cooldowns of abilities. To track a cooldown you need to use Cooldown Watch. To track a buff, you need to use De|Buff Watch. I just tested Rapid Fire(I thought it was working) and it is working as intended. I will be switching over to spell id's soon so there will not need to be localizations.
You are correct, there is no way currently to adjust the exact width of frames. There is an option to adjust the width of the bars within the frame (this is what I was thinking of). I will add in an option to adjust the exact width soon (I am the same way you are. My UI is exactly mirrored. lol).
As for the bubble issue, Forbearance is not currently tracked, will be added, but the bubble thing is probably because it tracks it as a cast, so it goes left to right instead of right to left. (hence it started 99% depleted)
**Update @ 4:49 AM EST **
Yes I need a life. Anyways, fixed the pet issues with Mend Pet etc, Mend Pet is now considered a HOT and pets track properly. I also added in a cool new Skull warning feature. Turn it on in general options to see what I mean. Its kinda cool tbh. I also hopefully fixed an issue with Boss Death Tracking (damn 2.4), but we will have to see. I did add Forberance and Recently Bandaged to the global debuff list too.
Remember, Cooldown Watch and De|Buff Watch are two SEPARATE plugins. Cooldown Watch tracks the cooldowns of abilities. To track a cooldown you need to use Cooldown Watch. Yes, I'm aware of the distinction. I just tested again and took some screenshots; can you suggest what I might be doing wrong?
Edit: The first pic shows me having just activated Rapid Fire. You can see the buff being tracked, and that the cooldown is selected for tracking but has no cooldown bar visible. You can see cooldown time on my Rapid Fire action bar button thanks to OmniCC.
The second pic shows the results of activating Bestial Wrath. As expected, there are timers for BW on my pet, The Beast Within on myself, and a 2 minute cooldown bar for the ability.
Alright, I think I know what is going on now. After you add it to be tracked, if you are using the default config, goto the Bar Filtering options, and make sure it is unchecked there. Remember, a check in the Bar Filtering options means it WILL be filtered.

Hmm that doesn't seem to be the problem either. Screenshot attached in case I misunderstood.
Edit: I don't want ask to have every little thing manually added, but I also noticed that neither the 30 second on-equip cooldown on my Blessed Medallion of Karabor isn't tracked, nor is the 15 minute cooldown from using it.
Hmmmmmm......... The 30 second initial equip cooldown won't be tracked. I'll change the cooldown from the uptime to 10m which is what I believe the cooldown of the trinket is. Did you get rapid fire /beastal wrath to work?
1. Yes, it is has a check mark next to, RBM -Core-, RBM Config, and the Raid Modules.
2. I have tried deleting and reinstalling.
3. Cleaned the Saved Variables.
4. Made sure Ace3 was updated.
I am not the only one that is having problem. I had 2 others in my guild install it. One person worked and the other one is having the same problems as me.
I tried, /rbm config and just /rbm and there is nothing.

It runs off Ace2, not Ace3. What localization are you using? enUS? Is there an icon on Fubar? Make sure you have "Load OutDated" addons on, I forgot to toc bump it :( lol

Bestial Wrath works fine, I was just showing it as an example that some cooldowns were working fine. Rapid Fire still doesn't work, and I can't find anything that I'm doing wrong/different that may be causing the problem.
I also noticed that on my Mage, Fire Blast shows up as an empty bar on both my Long and Short bars and doesn't go away, instead of tracking the cooldown properly. Also, Combustion's cooldown is not tracked.
Cone of Cold, Blast Wave, Evocate and other cooldowns I've tried work fine.
Edit: The number of stacked Improved Scorch debuffs is not displayed either.
Edit 2: I noticed my Evocate cooldown bar did not come back after a UI reload.
Load Out of Date Addons is enabled. (It was when I was trying earlier)
There is no Fubar option or menus.(None earlier)
The most recent version of Ace2 is installed. (Ace3 and Ace2 Folders in Interface/Addons folder, with latest WAU posted update).
Localization is enUS.
Someone else wanted to try it out and they couldn't get it to work either. I am not sure how familiar they are with mods though.
