Great work on it so far Antiarc, I got everyone to upgrade to Omen2 on Wednesday night, and we did Hyjal just fine then :)
One thing I do want to make you aware of, although I don't know if it's been fixed in one of the builds of the last horus: Soulshatter and Invisibility both don't show on the threat. Our locks and mages got scared shitless when they used their threat dumps and they were still top on Omen (and yes, they're absolutely HORRIBLE on managing threat :P).
I would like to make a suggestion to the addon, but according to the number of pages of this and other threads, I am not sure if it will ever be read. Anyway:
I like the new Omen and I know that currently it lacks some set of configuration features. However I would like to add the following feature:
Treat the player's bar differently from other bars. It would be great to be able to configure your own threat bar differently from other player's bars. Since I trim my UI for high contrast and zero unnecessary data and as a warlock mostly play with the single-target mode, it would be great if my own bar would be customizable on its own. You already allow us to customize the aggro threshold bar differently.
The features for your own bar could be the same as for the aggro bar. (height, color, alpha, texts visibility, maybe even a different TPS calculation frequency)
My wish scenario would be to set my own bar in red color and all others except the aggro threshold in black, so I don't have to look longer than a second at Omen to see where I am standing.
It would be great to see this feature in some of the next releases. Keep up the good work.
Great work getting this up and running so quickly! Most of the issues i have seen on here so i wont bother restating.
For those who are complaining about the clutter and new look, if you go to the skins menu and load classic, it makes it almost exactly like the old omen. all you need to do from there is resize the bars/window to your liking.
But i would like too see a profile loading mechanism, like the ones in bongos, or baggins or Dr.Damage. I have like 9 characters and it would be nice not to have to manually reconfigure every single aspect of the addon every time i load up another character.
But that is secondary to getting the functionality done. keep up the good work, and keep the profile thing in mind, please!
Not sure if this has been requested yet but is it possible to get a raid/party version report. We seem to have people that aren't updating Omen and it would be nice to see the raid version per person.
Haven't read all pages so apologies if there's duplicates...
1. Tank-mode seems to be missing.
2. Omen doesn't want to stay hidden: I join a team it pops up, I enter an instance it pops up, I dismount, my pet spawns and it pops up, etc. I want it to stay hidden until I hit the button.
Particularly the second issue is annoying me to no end.
Haven't seen this anywhere, but Omen is broken on the Bloodboil fight.
The moment we get the Insignificance debuff in phase 2, TPS stops. However, it doesn't seem to restart for everyone when the debuff fades. Not sure if this is an Omen thing or a Threat thing though.
I posted this in the old omen thread and didn't want to see it overlooked:
Sorry if this has already been reported, but it doesn't appear that Omen is being reset on Leotheras the Blind whenever he changes forms or Whirlwinds.
Had an issue last night with threat not being reset at appropriate times. The boss in question does not despawn after the fight, which made me wonder if all of the "other" peoples threat hadn't been reset because they died earlier in the fight and the mob's GUID didn't change. Confusing.
Also of note was the lack of proper resetting of threat at phase changes during the Supremus fight. (Which actually leads to an interesting feature idea: should it be possible for Threat to report a mob as "ignores threat" at times?)
still having a problem with AOE not showing bars and I am on the latest build.
Is there a dependency that is needed for AOE to function? I installed Threat 2.0 just to be sure, but it did nothing. We have several people in my guild with the same issue so I don't think its isolated with my system.

any ideas?
I tanked a Sethekk run with my pally last night and couldn't get anything on the AOE mode either. I did get values on Single and Overview.
The one and most important option I miss is the ability to drag the tank aggro bar out to the screen and close the omen window all together. This allowed me just to see the percent & time til aggro gain on the target it was in, without it taking up so much room. I would put it next to my other raid windows and one bar worked so well.
In the new version this option isn't there yet that I can find. Is this going to be worked back in on omen2?
When accessing omen2 options from the main interface screen by hitting escape then picking interface. Then click addons, then omen. Some of the omen options get clipped because there isn't enough room for them.
I updated to the latest build of Omen 2 and now it's only showing my threat in groups on my omen, and on other ppl in my group omen its not showing me at all.
My omen only shows My outgoing threat to MYSELF. When I'm in a raid it does not display it to my other raid members, same goes for party. I can do versionchecks and that works fine... but Pretty much the mod isn't communicating with other people and isn't sending/receiveing threat to me/others.
I tried deleting the Omen folder and redownloading and it didn't do anything. My guildies also have the newest version too, I did testing with one person and we could not get them to communicate. Please help,
as often said before, anti changed the libs protocol so the other people have to update as well, otherwise you wont see them and they wont see you. All this happens to reduce traffic. and its not completed yet, so exspect it to break it again, after the weekend ;)
Sorry, I just edited my post. I did extensive testing with 2 other guildies. THEY were able to see eachothers threat, but not mine. We all have the newest version when we did tests.
When raiding with the previous version of Omen, I had Omen configured so that in the Omen window, I would see the threat of other warriors and druids in the raid as well as my own threat.
I have been unsuccessful in configuring Omen 2 to recreate this behavior.
I tried clicking the, 'show self' option, as well as turning off the all of the other classes and pets except warriors / druids. But I still cannot recreate the way the threat bars. Even with, 'always show self' option clicked, Omen doesn't show my threat in the threat meter.
If anyone could help me configure Omen so it will display my threat in relation to the threat of the top 2-3 tanks, as it did in the previous version, I would be very greatful.
Thank you,
- Pahbi
