The look and feel of this new omen is vastly inferior to the original Omen. It's to much, way to much. Is there a chance we can get a working classic omen?
or at the very least an omen that you can modify the scale so the entire window shrinks, not just the height? the way i have my UI setup there's a narrow area where omen fits and it is just too wide to fit there now and there is no way to make it more narrow

Totally agree with the last two posters, Omen2 is quite horrible in comparison to Omen1 without the flexibility of the original :/
Frankly, I can't stand the new Omen. I left KTM to go to Omen because of the way it functioned, allowing me to customize it to fit my very particular UI. This new thing I'm being forced to use is not something I enjoy. Please fix it so it's like the regular Omen.
I would definatly like to see a 'classic' version/mode. The interface/ui of omen2 is too 'bulky', and lacks many of the options available in omen that allow you to simplify the mod.
It doesn't have as many options (yet apparantly), but you can make the window narrower with the drag handle in the lower right corner, and you can turn off the top title bar and the bottom button bar. It's not bulky at all when those are turned off.

yes i know of that drag handle... however try making it narrow and you will come to a point where you won't be able to make it any narrower. the old omen had a scale setting that let you shrink everything where the mod was 75% usual size or whatnot.... that's the feature this omen needs... everything else is perfect for me i just want it to look good in my UI again.
For me it's also becoming more of a resource hog eating up some FPS. May be a bug. Cosmeticaly speaking, I would rather have the classic omen back. It just fits my UI better and i can place it better on my screen.
I suspect the new modes could be nice but hope we can get to select them from a FuBar menu (and move them off of the Omen window... I like it without any clutter :-)
works fine, would like to remove the "Glow" effect when agro is gained on one self... went into the Lua to remove the "Flash" aspect, but it also seemed to remove the Message and enabled the screen shake even though I disabled it...
I'm checking out the problems with the other modes; I've throttled their updates so that you shouldn't see them hogging nearly so much CPU, but I haven't had a chance to actually test them in a large-scale setting. As soon as I can get some better data I should have a better direction on fixing 'em.
If you want to disable the warnings, check modules -> single target -> warnings.
Omen 2 is fine, obviously missing a lot of the old features. Some modes did crash our healers tonight, but as long as you stayed on Single Target, it wasnt that bad.
Features that are missing our raid noticed are things like:
-Your name (the bar) colored red, instead of your class color.
-Your threat always shown. Even with this option enabled, your own character would fall off the list.
-Turning off the flash and shake screen effects. Yes, there is an option to turn them off, but for several of us, turning the feature off did not actually disable the feature. I simply turned my threat warning percent to 130% (i think that was the max), to make it stop. Others edited the lua.
For some reason, on Single Target mode, i would get flash warnings saying i passed (insert random classes threat here). Sometimes a healer, sometimes a mage, etc, even when the tank had a good margin of threat and was tanking the mob.
So ya, there are some bugs. And all the features are not implimented yet. But it does work, and we cleared most of BT tonight without any threat issues. Just want to say i appreciate all the work you are putting into this new version.
Please correct me if I'm wrong, but old Omen automatically defaulted to global threat if you had nothing targetted while new Omen requires you to click on the AoE mode or single target mode. Seems like a giant step backwards in functionality.
I seem to be having a slight problem. Rather than have labels (name, TPS, threat percentage) show up on the bars its all clumped up on the right hand side of the box. I've tried deleting Omen and removing the saved variables, but I seem to be missing something. Any help would be appreciated.

Crashed me twice. And I'm the paladin trash mob tank, so you can see our problem.
Same thing here - we took a break and unloaded it :(
Something with the 'other' addons spamming the comm channel is what I got from some simple diags.

it looks like its trying to communicate as it starts to lag out with a lot of mobs (mh trash) but its not displaying any bars.
Is there a trick to getting the bars to display?
