On sort of a different note...a few days ago on the EJ thread (I think), Antiarc had a screenshot of a really neat interface with nested bars, showing just one bar for the target, with nested sub-bars showing your threat and the threat-leader's threat. Has that actually been implemented? If so, how can I set that up? :)
Yup, it has. Just click and drag a bar out of the main interface. It has a tendancy to "stick" on the mouse cursor right now, so you may need to /rl after that until I can figure out why the event isn't being trapped. :)
I have been trying to do this for 3days now on and off but no matter what i do I can not get a separate threat bar to pull off the main omen window like was show on Antiarcs EJ thread. I am running noexts, is there a specific library that handles this? (I am pretty much positive I have all required librarys anyway..)
EDIT
Just discovered that I can do the threat bar when I am in combat with other people in the group. Can't do it with the test bars or when solo.
Yeah... I've been using Threat Bars lately... specially in Lady Vashj's fight, where It's neat to have Comparative Bars with each tank so the Threat comparison against each target is easier to read.
Problem is that the Nested Bar (The inner bar containing YOUR Threat) is hard to see in the Red bar with the Person's Aggro in Orange... should be more readable, IMO.
Dont take It wrong, Authors, pls... the Idea is Perfect! The Comparative threat Bars are the best Feature I've seen so far in Omen... makes KTM Cry to It's knees, and also looks god damn cool! It's definately the Killing Blow of Merciness over KTM! :P
Congrats on the work.
Would It be possible to configure the Threat Bar's Colors so we can make It more readable? Own Threat beign brown, inside an Orange Bar from the Aggro Holder's aggro inside a bigger Red bar is hard to see where I am against that Aggro Holder. The Color difference between bars is almost non-existant.
Great addon, thanks for this, I just downloaded it to replace KTM. I'm leveling my hunter, using these mods to see my and my pet's aggro. However, my pet isn't showing up on Omen. Any idea what I might be doing wrong? Thanks!
Pet detection is really sketchy. Sometimes it works, other times it doesn't. More recent versions seem to be picking up the pet a lot better, try updating Omen/Threat.
Thanks, but I'm using the most recent version. Will keep testing it every update though. I really look forward to completely replacing KTM with Omen, it's so much nicer.

I think I understand what you mean by the nested bars, and deffo sounds awesome, but I can't find the screenie anywhere!
Anyone mind posting it here?
I have a gap under my Pitbull atm of about one bar height, would be awesome to stick Omen under there showing (it sounds like) how close I am to pulling aggro off someone else..
Screenie and how to achieve the aboev (if poss) would be UBER! thanks :-)

It would be better to post in the Pitbull thread, as Pitbull already does that. First, make sure you' have the Threat library installed and loaded. Enable an appropriate configuration mode in Pitbull if necessary. Then, open the Pitbull options and look for Threat-related categories for the unit frames in which you'd like to configure the threat bar.
For the healers here who wish to see their threat compared to the tank and the dps, is there a chance you could implement a sort of master target? Not like with KTM, since the targets are individual anyway, more like this:
When you do not have any target, or a friendly target selected, show the threat of everyone on the master target. That way, healers do not have to have the boss selected to get their threat values compared to others. It would also be nice if this master target could be automatically set on the boss when engaged, and/or be individually changeable by everyone, so they can have their own (thinking OT healers on Maulgar fight eg.)
Doable?

I think what you want is Target of Target threat if selected target is friendly?

newest Omen/Tread Version, Omen shows the Layout, but no Tread Indicators, not the own, and no data from KTM.
I have the german WoW Client.

Omen/Threat Tracks everything on a Per-Target-Basis. there is no "Master Target" like in KTM
but for healing there is what's known as "Global-Threat" and i think a "Global + Current Target" threat view would be in order for healers...

I think i understand what you mean. Although I'm not playing as healer anymore this sounds like a good idea. Not sure about the automatic part though.

Not exactly, what if the target is not targeting a mob, but another friendly?

I'm very aware of that, and it's great, I don't want that to change. It's when you target something not a mob, a friendly NPC or Player that all you get is the global threat and that doesn't show anything but your own (I tested this yesterday on Nightbane, with 3 healers, it only showed me).

The automatic was an idea that I saw because of the auto-reset of threat based on BigWigs notifications. It's not the core of this idea though.

More like a sticky target option would be better.
Sticky targeting is pretty much exactly what I was trying to say. The ability to set a specific target to show threat on, even if you do not have that one selected. Or actually, to have that one show if you don't have any mob selected, as you might want to show the threat on a different mob temporarily inbetween.
why does Omen randomly clear and rebuild the list during combat... during an average boss fight i watch it clear itself about every 30 seconds or so. this is incredibly annoying on fights like voidreaver where the tanks are constantly changing.
one minute i look at omen and i'm good, the next the list is wiped out and reconstructing itself.
is there a way to make the list stay up the entire time you're in combat without erasing the bars every few moments?

I'm fairly sure this is on the todo list alread but I'd still like to second the request for a sorta-master target. Not all healers are most concerned about their threat on their tot, not all others are concerned primarily with their current target. Being able to set yourself a focus threat target and either locking the main list to showing threat specifically on that target or simply creating separate a focus target threat list when a threat focus is set would be very handy.

I suggested this in the Violation thread before, but perhaps Omen would be better suited to implementing it. In terms of the sticky target for healers, you could just use our Focus target. I generally use that to track the boss health anyway.

no. same target the entire fight.
