Hello, yersterday during the Gurtogg encounter our raid had hugge problems with the threats shown on omen, we all used the r69196 omen version.
At first we could only see the first tank, then after the first rage or second fel rage the second tank did show ...
But that's not the only problem, sometimes the second tank died and our feral drood did take over (we did redirection shoots from the hunter on him, I don't know the correct spelling of the hunter's spell, I play with a french client), and he was clearly above everyone on omen yet gurtogg didn't targeted him , but instead he did target the first tank.
We had another bug, some of our dps classes (hunter and SP yesterday) did gain aggro on gurtogg (we had the two tank way over everyone and they weren't blind, bop, or bumped), I don't know if this is a bugg from omen or the encounter.
I personnaly hope that it will be fixed soon.(
sorry for my poor English :p)
During the quest "Teleport This!", I used the Mental Interference Rod to possess one of the demons up in Netherstorm. Even though I didn't have Omen displayed/active at the time, I immediately got this error:
Error: attempt to concatenate a nil value
...men\Libs\LibGUIDRegistry-0.1\LibGUIDRegistry-0.1.lua:158: in function `ProcessActor'
...men\Libs\LibGUIDRegistry-0.1\LibGUIDRegistry-0.1.lua:115: in function `?'
...men\Libs\LibGUIDRegistry-0.1\LibGUIDRegistry-0.1.lua:97: in function <...men\Libs\LibGUIDRegistry-0.1\LibGUIDRegistry-0.1.lua:96>
Because I don't have the title bar displayed when Omen *is* running, I'm not sure of the exact revision or how to find it. [edit: opening Omen.lua, there's a 69623 rev there]
It'd also be nice if the revision number could be printed out via slash command (maybe just as a line before the list of subcommands, when the user types "/omen" and no args). Currently there's nowhere in the game to see the revision number besides the title bar, and if the title bar is hidden, oops.
So yeah, I finally got tired of not being able to find the current revision number while in game, and I don't have spare screen space to display the title bar. It turns out that the banner printed at the start of the "/omen" help list isn't controllable by Omen code, it's all done by mixins and there's no way to slip an extra line of text through. (Maybe you're all rolling your eyes, but it was news to me.)
So I did this instead. I realize it's not localized.
It seems that Omen computes wrong aggro from Onyxia ever since because it thinks that "Wing Buffet" and "Knock Away" cause a 50% threat reduction.
But that isn't the case with Onyxia, it's 25% on "Knock Away" and no threat reduction on "Wing Buffet": http://www.wowwiki.com/Onyxia_(tactics)
With Threat-1.0 it was easy to change that by changing the values in "ThreadNPCModuleCore.lua" from
self.generic_attacks[L["Knock Away"]] = function(mob, target) ModifyThreat(mob, target, 0.5, 0) end
self.generic_attacks[L["Wing Buffet"]] = function(mob, target) ModifyThreat(mob, target, 0.5, 0) end
self.generic_attacks[L["Knock Away"]] = function(mob, target) ModifyThreat(mob, target, 0.75, 0) end
self.generic_attacks[L["Wing Buffet"]] = function(mob, target) ModifyThreat(mob, target, 1.0, 0) end
With that change the threat was correct.
With Threat-2.0 the code was changed so that both abilities are just one modifier:
For each boss there is a npc-module and i think included so far is only the bc-content. and even with these modules its not working perfect yet, why should you implement modules for content that only a few people use then? We kill ony with 5 people just for fun, and i dont think aggro is that important any more for old content like ony ;)
Nevertheless i tried to code kelthuzad and ony myself and couldnt get it to work.
there is something wrong in my lua-code and i still have to figure it out.
I don't know if this has been asked before, but I have an issue with Omen2 not displaying anything.
Ever since 2.4 came, I updated my Omen to Omen2 (and updating regularly since then too), I cannot see anything on my Omen. I can't remember exactly which version I have, but it was something like r68534 (next update was r70000ish). My omen frames would show up during raids/groups, but no threat bars would show up. Other people in party/raid can see my threat level, but I cannot see my own or anybody elses.
It would be nice to have a method to switch from AoE mode to Single target when using the classic skin. Either by fubar menu or a smaller button on the main window. Right now, I have to change back the skin to default press the button mode desired and put back the classic skin.
