We are trying out wow web stats to gather data on Gruul. This requires multiple people to be logging and syncronizing the logs etc... Are there any alternatives in the form of ace 2 addins?
Step 1: Get Violation. Nice and light raid meters.
Step 2: Get Violation_CombatLogRange. Extends your combatlog range in raid to 200 yards.
Step 3: Get Loggerhead to automate turning on and off your combatlog.
Step 4: Fire up WoW Web Stats: http://www.lossendil.com/wws/
Step 5: Use the client and upload your stats
Step 6: Profit!

I think this method is the lightest and simplest approach.
Violation is still just your own dmg right? Or does it parse the enter combat log for all events?
The reason they suggest getting Violation is for the Violation_CombatLog module -- this module can be setup to increase your combatlog range to 200 yards whenever you join a group/party. So, it'll basically make your combatlog 100% accurate for using with WWS.

I dunno whether webstats are such good an idea anyways. At the speed the Lossendil-server reacts due to load, I think I could produce an excel-sheet with the stats faster (on my guild's board) with a pencil and a piece of paper. Without actual access to Excel! ;)
Recount is as close as it gets. A pimped screen-shot button for Recount would rock btw, which turns the background of Recount's window pitch-black for a moment, screenshots only that part (is that possible?), and then sets it back to what it was before.
For posting stats to the guild later, automatic screenshots of Recount's graphs would be THE thing :)
Loggerhead is an ace2 addon that helps automate enabling and disabling of /combatlog in game depending on which instance you're in etc.
Recount offers some pretty good in game damage meter/analysis too, might want to give it a try.

Here's our last Gruul attempt: http://www.lossendil.com/wws/?report=26xqeny3smvaq&s=834-1241

I still have to reset segements for sws. during raid meter's are important to us still.
This is exactly what we are already doing. This is why I'm trying to find an alternative.
