I love how BigWigs places a skull icon on single players that have something happening with them that requires the focus of a raid, such as Static Charge on Vashj.
Given the number of encounters that randomly select a group of players, obviously using raid symbols is a little much to get those people noticed. However, if Bigwigs had some sort of "players effected" list/array built into the interface, it would be quite nice for many reasons.
When players are added to or leave the list/array, a custom event could fire that unitframe addons could catch and highlight the player accordingly. This would very easily let healers know "who got watery graved" or "who has an inner demon," etc because the unitframes would have seen a the "effected player" event and outlined the player's frame in yellow (for example).
I hope this makes sense - it would make it much easier to see multi-player random afflictions during encounters - at least easier than matching up health bars with comma-delimited raid warnings.
Itd be nice of there was some sort of boss module for Grid to display players affected with semi-important debuffs such as water tomb, inner demon, watery graved, etc... instead of teaching individual healers to configure the debuffs.
