I can't get the find button to work properly. Every time I attempt to change it to something else (ie; Find Fish from Find Herbs) the list disappears and I'm unable to change the function.
Great mod, love the look and feel of it so far. I've noticed two issues.
The first is that when I set up my buttons (specifically the show settings) on my main character, those settings are not carrying over to my other characters, even when I try to copy the profile from the main character to the others.
The second problem I am having is with using the button menus with the fade option turned on. Once I try to move my mouse down the menu (and thus out of the minimap area) the button and connecting menu will disappear, thus making the menu unusable.
Just installed this last night, and have found that the clock display, although toggled to to Show:Never, will reappear after /reloadui and upon login. Reclick Show: Never, and it dutifully stays gone until the next login or ui-reload.
Now, I have read through this thread and I looked through the other addons I have to see if there's a conflict somewhere, such as two addons that control the clock. However, the full extent of the enabled addons I have are as follows:
Now, I don't believe any of those touch the clock, but tomorrow I'll go through the process of disabling things one by one to see if the behaviour persists.
As a note, the Critmeister button moves itself back to its original position at /reloadui and login, although it dutifully keeps Show:Hover between sessions. The Dominos, Calendar, Tracking, and other buttons behave just fine.
I´ve started to experience a little problem with addons minimap button control.
The last couple of days, everytime I exit/enter the game, minimap buttons for EsayDND and Spamsentry are showing. All I need to do is enter the config menu and recheck the "Never show" for just one of them and they are gone. However they reappear after I exit/enter the game.
It is likely those addons themselves have a minimap button setting to show/hide. That is to say, their settings need to match the one in SexyMap. If Spamsentry is trying to show its button, while SexyMap is trying to hide it, then the last addon to show/hide it wins.
Only three reasons I don't use this instead of sMM... Only mover I see is the durability frame, can't seem to hide/disable the tracking button (I'd rather let EBB control this, as I use MiniMapButtonFrame control my buttons), and I can't change the strata (making it difficult to properly lay this out with kgPanels).
I'm loving the hell out of this addon, but since the 3.1 patch, I've noticed the icons for quest givers (the blue and yellow ! or ?) became super tiny. Anyone else getting this and/or know a workaround?

There is no simple workaround for this. The icons (blips) do scale with the minimap now though (new with 3.1), so the only way to get them larger is by scaling the entire minimap up and making it larger too.
You could also use an addon such as Blipstick from Tekkub to replace the icons with a slightly larger version. (I say slightly because the quest icons are already about as big as they can get.)
Blipstick icons seem to stay the same size regardless of zoom level, so to get the old behavior back you could run Blipstick with the default icon set.

The blips never scale with the minimap zoom level, regardless of if you replace them using Blipstick. However, they always scale with minimap scale. (The scale of the actual minimap frame itself.)
One possible workaround might be to set the size of the MinimapCluster frame to 128x128 and then change its scale to 1.5. It seems like all the child frames/textures/fontstrings of MinimapCluster have absolute sizes, too, so they would probably have to be iterated over and resized themselves.
Edit: Nevermind, that workaround won't work that way. I've tried a couple variations and the best I can do is reduce the size of the Minimap within the cluster itself. This has the undesired effect of showing less of the minimap (clipping it).
Switched to SexyMap from SimpleMinimap because it didnt work with 3.1. I must say I'm very impressed but something is confusing me.
Can i move quest tracker and other minimap movers ? when i mark on show movers I'm only getting armored man mover :(

Any chance of seeing changes to the above?
maybe they "fixed" the nodes not fading with the minimap
