Running into an issue with the new versions, it seems the achievement tracker is anchored under the minimap frame, and if you have your minimap placed so that the tracker is offscreen, when you try to track an achievement you'll get an error "You don't have space to track any more objectives, stop tracking some first".
I believe there used to be a repositioner for that tracker, but can't seem to find it in the options now, am I just missing it, recalling incorrectly, or is it missing now?
Edit: A bit more digging & I found the issue - it seems 3.1 made that frame adjustable; if you move the minimap so it's on screen, go to interface->objectives & untick disable mouseover you can then mouseover the tracker, move it & then it'll no longer be anchored to the minimap frame.
is there any way to make the mod stop resetting my zoom level? i want to stay zoomed out fully unless i manually change it. whenever i log in now, i have to zoom out.
If you have either the Auto Zoom or Wheel Zoom module (or both) enabled, it may be neccessary for Chinchilla to set the minimap to a known zoom level upon logging in so that it can properly handle zooming in and out for the rest of the session. Try disabling both modules and see if you get the same behavior the next time you log in.
Same problem here. I'd like to have WheelZoom enabled and AutoZoom disabled, but after each login the zoom level is back to some default which isn't the farest possible zoom level.
Right now I solved it by activating AutoZoom but that's also not perfect because the AutoZoom causes this zooming click sound on each login and location change (e.g. leaving Dalaran).
I use EWOlson_PointsOfInterest for locating flight masters but it does not show up on chinchilla is there a way to get flight masters to show or a better program for putting them there?PLEASE
i have some more information about the zoom situation i posted a few posts up, where the zoom levels weren't saving at my fully-zoomed-out levels prior to logging.
it seems that the zoom level in dalaran (and maybe other buildings/cities?) is causing at least part of the issue.
to reproduce it, i can zoom out fully, log out in the dalaran inn. log back in, fully zoom out again (it seems to be fully zoomed out already upon login). but, ride over to krasus' landing, mount up and fly to the next zone. NOW it allows me to zoom out to the full amount.
pretty weird!
any thoughts/suggestions?
edit: if i stay logged in, go to another zone, fully zoom out, then teleport to dalaran and then go to another zone again, it stays fully zoomed out through the entire process. thx
I noticed that too. Seems like Dalaran has less zoom levels than other zones.
Everytime I leave Dalaran for the first time of that session, the auto-zoom zooms a bit out, making that annoying click sound (I'd really like to disable this sound ;)).
I need help.
Last week my chinchilla went crazy. Buttons only show on mouseover and player coords appear on minimap and I can't seem to get rid of them.
Can anyone tell me what's wrong?
Thanks
Edit: I found the culprit: Macaroon Extras has a new Minimap module. Use one or the other, not both.
Just a heads up, since I believe Chinchilla uses this:
The UI button to toggle the minimap is no longer present in build 10596.
In addition, the global API function ToggleMinimap() has been removed. Oops not a global API function, it was just defined globally in FrameXML\Minimap.lua.
However, there is still a keybinding for toggling the minimap.
I get the following message when I use the keybind to toggle the minimap:

I am sorry if this is in the wrong place, but i have having a minor problem with Chinchilla minimap. For some reason it shows mining nodes as yellow dots on one of my minors, while on the other mining character, it shows nothing. And I cant find any setting that will allow me to set it to show the mining nodes. Pls help me or point me int he right direction. Thank You in advance.
I'm having a problem with Chinchilla. For some reason, when using the default Blizzard tracking dots, my pet doesn't show up. It shows perfectly fine with any other dots, just not the default blizzard ones.
This happened when I logged in for the day

I have AutoZoom disabled, and Wheel Zoom enabled. I have also hidden the zoom in/out buttons but not sure if that matters :)
