I need to test this a bit more tonight, but I noticed recently that my quest givers didn't seem to be getting tracked in Cartographer. I checked the Cartographer menu, and didn't see "Quests" at all.
Loading ACP, I found that Cartographer_Quests was listed as "Load on Demand", but hadn't loaded when I talked with quest givers.
I found an issue about LoD addon in Cartographer, and also a typo in Cartographer_Quests that could mess up loading. Both have been fixed. Please try the latest release.
Is there possible to synchronize current quests status (available, completed) with this addon? I have few alts and databases is messed up (they see some quests as available but i completed them some time ago)

There is no way to distinguish available and done quests: neither are listed in your quest log. All you can do is right-click the quest notes and use the context menu to change their status with your higher level chars.
Well, then possibility to synchronize them with one of quest database addons could be a nice feature isnt?
I do not see the point of it. Knowing the status of alt quests will not help to decide if any of your quest is still available or already done. Can you elaborate please ?
Hey guys--- sorry if this is the wrong place to ask this... But I'm either experiencing a bug, OR I misunderstood what this was used for.
When I click the Quests part of Cartographer, I'm trying to activate it in such a way that it shows all available quests for me on my minimap. However, I'm standing right in front of a guy with a gold question mark, with the "Available" option highlighted under Quests on Cartographer, and he's not showing up.
When I select "active quests" the purple icon DOES show up, so I know that indeed the minimap functions are working. Am I just mis-using this addon?
I was hoping it was something I could use to find new quests to do whenever I enter a new city. Is that right?
Hey, is it possible to adapt this mod to show the locations of quests that would be yellow to me, but I have yet to find (obviously, different picture than the current ones used); a function like that combined with questobjectives could be extremely useful for leveling up, because it seems with the quest objectives in the map, quests get completed significantly faster, and I quickly find myself out of yellow and green quests, and am not sure where I can find some more.
I mean, a list of them would probably have to be a separate mod, but them being on the map would make zones like Badlands, where quest givers are all over the map, significantly faster to complete.
One way is if we could somehow derive those notes from the massive database made for "Quest Objectives"... Is it possible for someone to load that database, then, using "Quest" output a file for us to use?
It would help me out a lot if I was able to import in some database of "quest givers"... And since there's already a massive database for its companion, it seems like we're inches away from having that.
I don't know if it's just me. But I'm running r34079 of everything. And since installing FuBar_QuestsFu, Cartographer_Quests is no longer getting any new quest giver details.

i have a problem with the addon i have the lastets version and the addon seems to not be recording the chains of the quests especialy quest with the same name and it doesnt record quests accepted by items or world objects maybe it only record from npcs i dunno

I always get all my Ace add-ons from the WoWAce Beta Files directory.

Yep. It doesn't record chain between quests. It was not designed to do it.
It only record quest from NPC to avoid overwhelming the map with quest notes from several characters and/or players.
